Remember hearing about Patton when he was about 10 years old, maybe slightly older. Seems to have had a good reputation through his service area/scholarship years.

This age group that's currently turning pro. A few years back, I spoken to one of the lads who played on the team and he said the best player for Warrington's team was a hooker from Oldham (I think). Anyone heard of him since?

Played with Lewis Charnock and few others at Saints and Wigan now.

That's who I heard of him from. When Charnock first started at Warrington, Patton was the one he raved about as being the best on the team. Always said he was small though.

Zak's a mini beast from Yorkshire and well known to the top clubs so I hope will have got him signed.

He's played for England recently along with a few other who were in our under 16s programme hopefully they are in the other 5 who have signed.

I don't like George Ford being lost to RL either. I was told about him by a then Wire scout about nine years ago (it was Kevin Browns first game at academy level for Wigan)

But more to the point of ive played with all 4 players before, not going to say where because it may come clear as who i am and may sound to biased. these 4 young men are 4 of the greatest ive ever played with.

Jake Eccleston is the Fastest player that was in the premier Devision! .. Leaving 'Arron Lwezencko' and 'Lewis Tierney' for dead in some full length efforts against OSJ. Serious tallent this kid and rugby union clearly seen it as Sale and Leister were after the young mans signature.

Joe Philbin, Ill keep it short and sweet, heard alot of good things about this guy and wasnt sure what to believe till he joined forces with the LAU side, but ill put it forward now, Joe Philbin will be on the england 18s side in the next 2 years.

Declan Patton IMO is the best halfback in the country, ive played with Ryan Hampshire, Jamie Doran, George Williams all before. But not one comes close to this kid when hes on his day. I can garuntee you now, when Declan Patton returns from his injury crisis, he will prove me correct!

Sean Henney, king of team morale, when your head is down sean can lift you up with no doubt. Strong as an OX. got a serriously bright future ahead of him, keeps his game face on and we could hear alot more of this guy in the future.

The Bizzare comment about Declan Patton being Lee Westwoods son, wasnt to sure weather or not it was a serious statement but ill tell you now, this Wes is no Golfer.

I dont think Zak Dewihurst will make it unless his game improves 100 percent. The lad is a OX but thats as far is it goes. He gets caught out in defence and his ball handling often lets him down. Andre Savelio is a much better player and thats not because i'm a saints fan. Andre's only weakness is that he can often come across as lazy.

Declan Patton is a very classy player.

Lewis Charnock made his first appearance for Saints U18's today and played very well. Saints have turned him into a Full back now rather tham Loose forward.
