Agreed 100%, although winning the league leaders shield is a fantastic achievement, as i pointed out yesterday to a Wigan fan i know apart from being able to choose your opponents you don't really get much else for it, after all people remember the team who wins the Grand Final/Challenge Cup Final and not really who finishes top of the league after 27 rounds

Sky have mananged to convince almost everyone that finishing as top dogs means dick-all nowadays.
And even Wiggsy dismissed our achievement on Boots N All as if it was almost nothing.

Always wondered why, when Superleague is played over so many games, we decide that whoever wins a knockout competition, become superleague champions.
Whoever finishes top of the league are, to me the true champions. This year, that is Wigan, much as it hurts to say so.
