| They are already out and we’ve come in about 5th in scoring in the A band.
That’s Leeds top, Pies (going 2nd after the wins this season, Saints, Cats, Wire, FC & KR. Wire doing well in 5th considering KR and Leigh did well this season.
Toulouse are a B in 10th! And
iMG wanted London in.
That puts a nail in Castleford coffin with a low B grade and 13th.

| I'm guessing that's a typo, Castleford's grade is B.

| Interesting to see London a long way down the list...
....and (personally) sad to see Keighley right near the bottom when them and their "Cougar mania" were key in lauching the revamped teams/names/attitude to RL

| Interesting to see there will be audits on attendances - I wonder what oversight there will be on social media followings and engagement? Wouldn’t put it past a few unscrupulous individuals farming armies of fake engagement bots to get their IMG score up.
In principle I think this is a good idea, I wonder though whether the priorities are right - LED screens/hoardings should be a bare minimum, not placed on equal/relative footing to academy turnover. The number of players that have been developed in and around London, for example, will that ever be reflected in the Broncos score? (how much the broncos are actually responsible for this I don’t know).

Surely ,if all SL games are to be televised it likely to turn some supporters from going to games & towards watching at home instead. Less money for the clubs & more for sky. The game is depleted enough already without more clubs becoming unviable.

Attendance has, aside from league performance, the most number of IMG-Points, so clubs still have the incentive to keep gates high. I think it was always ludicrous that some games had a VR and others didn't, so that is a positive step IMO.
I don't know what the impact will be on attendances. I've certainly looked at a Wire game and thought, "nah, i'll stay at home with my feet up and watch it on TV" rather than racing across town after I've put the kids to bed. But that is just my situation. More eyes on the game (which will surely ultimately be the result) is always going to be a good thing, but will it sift through to higher attendances? Who knows.

| I agree more exposure to the masses could be great if it transfers to the terraces & ,of course, the tv masses want to tune in to rugby league.
I will be going less next season due to arthritis issues. Standing on the terraces knackers me up & i can't sit in the plastic seats.

But it wont be more money for SKY as savvy people are now using a firestick.
Maybe someone should tell them

A game on tele has never stopped me from watching live.

I much prefer live myself on the terraces. I think a firestick might be useful to me next season though & just go to certain games. I can't walk properly for 2 or 3 days when i've been to the match.

| Great discussion about the grading system on iplayer after the game today. As much as I’m not a fan of him Wilkin asked Tony Sutton some very good questions.
