| In terms of entertainment, that's the best half of rugby I've seen us play in a LONG time.
More of the same, Wire.
Goodwin looking sharp. Worried for Currie after that knock, but seemed to run it off, quickly

| Closer than it should have been.
Still, 2 points.
Onwards and upwards, Wire

| Talk about tale of two half’s, God knows what team talk went on. Made that far harder than needed to.

| I get the feeling that having built the foundations in the first half, we came out in the second half with the intention of opening it up. Unfortunately, their 2 quick tries put paid to that and we then seemed confused. I'm not sure as to whether the ref made some bad decisions or if our discipline was poor, but the flurry of penalties in their favour helped to keep them in the game.

The non attempted tackle be Austin, really took the wind out of our sails.
Regarding the ref. He was anonymous in that first half. That's the sign of a half decent ref. The second half, he was like a precocious 9 year old girl, trying to get on Britain's Got Talent. It all about him, then, when he shoehorned Wakey back into the game, he started looking for penalties to give us. A baffling performance. Mind you, some of our fans are as bad as Saints. Some of the booing against him, was bordering on the paranoia. We were as offside at the ptb, as they were.
There's 0.001% of me that actually does agree with St Helens' blonde eyebrows chairman

| Wakey targeted a weak spot on our right without Hughes and Wakey just ran their plays at BMM. It paid off for them eventually scoring 2 by him, he was then substituted.

WTF are you on about..
I've praised the team, and we got the two points (see page 1). The post you've highlighted, questioned the erratic performance of the referee. I fail to see where I have "found fault".
Do yourself a favour, put me on ignore.
What's the matter? Has Mark Hilton paid you a visit?

| Mixed game really, good bad and ugly at times!
First half we looked great, offloading, aggressive and finally passing to our wingers!
Second half we got sloppy and to fair to Wakey they hung in there, Austin needs to start putting his shoulder in and defending better, he looked rusty at times. Patton’s foot in touch was embarrassing and could of cost us the game at the end, and then Smith 3 minute pointless appearance was a daft one. It’s as if Pricey has chosen him to reinforce us bringing him in, we already had cover in the backs with Mamo.. it’s a shame Westwood didn’t get one last run out
