| I agree. He also has brains that our team sadly lack in key positions. I believe he's off at the end of the season and it looks like his attitude may be the reason for it. Have to trust Price but I'm a bit gutted about it, he could be the quality 13 we need.

| I've heard about his attitude but us fans can only judge what we see. He certainly doesn't lack it on the field.

| Sending Livett out on loan could be the making of him...concentrate his mind if his attitude is off.

| Livett seems really slow to me. Everything he does he seems to do slowly almost lazily like. He appears to have the brain for the game but he needs to be much sharper if he's to stay at the top table

| i can't see it if i'm completely honest, if we're suggesting he's future 13, why are we not seeing any significant handing that wows the crowd, he's not a fast runner, he's not a powerful runner, he's way off lockers (who's your prototype for that position)

Don't judge Livett at 22 off Lockers at 36. I think Livett looks slow and plodding but I think he's actually jusy deceptively fast. I look to a game against Leeds when he got the hatrick. One of his tries he looked like he had all the time in the world after outstripping their centre and then throwing the dummy to go over. He's strong too, last week at London he was hit by the fullback but stayed on his feet long enough to give the offload for a try.
I don't wanna sh*t on Patton again but even in that position I'd take Livett. As another said, he's got way more in his nal. We need to retain him.

| i can't remember what thread this was being discussed on recently, but all he had to do was be better than currie coming back from a year out and a serious injury, he's lamented the fact he got dropped from the team but in the period he was first choice had he done enough to keep his spot? no he hadn't.
Now there is an argument that he's being played out of position as he's not a direct back rower/wide running 2nd row, and thats one of our issues, that the back row is workmanlike rather than strike(which is something saints have over us imo).

| For me he is right on the edge, he might make it, he may not. But certainly what he needs is regular game time, and he has only had 7 games with us this year. If HKR extended his loan deal and he played out the rest of the season with them we would get a better yardstick of his abilities.
I find it a bit surprising when people say they believe he is moving on. He is contracted to 2020 and I would have thought SP would have wanted to hang on to him for another year at least.

let me just add to previous comments, i would love for him to prove me wrong.
However it does feel like he's dropped into the pack of moran, johnson(l) who seem to be well out of first team contention.
I don't know if anyone else listens to the bevan podcast, they did a show with gareth walker from the mirror and he mentioned about pat moran being highly rated, i don't know where that has come from i've not heard or read or especially seen anything to suggest that.

| Sadly he's now on the Warrington youth production conveyor belt which usually ends with a loan the transfer to Championship/lower SL side or out of the game completely following an initial period of hope and hype.

| I think with a half at fullback and class back rowers ...best a prop at 13.
We have it right...or would have if we weren't a prop short.
