| Cheers for heads up. Type in code 100days knocks adults down to a fiver!

| Nice one. I used that code and got tickets for the games above but went for the quarter final in Wigan instead of Warrington after closer inspection of who is likely to be playing in each one.
Three adult tickets and two kids tickets came in at £30 for the lot which is incredible value. By coincidence the final tickets I ordered months ago arrived in the post today so I'm quite looking forward to the tournament now.

Don't forget the offer for the two games at the HJ of buy tickets for one game and them half price for the other.
The HJ Qtr Final is likely to be one of PNG / France / Samoa versus Fiji / Ireland. So whilst not one of the big three (unless there are some shock results in the group games!), it still promises to be a colourful occasion and might be more likely to be a more competitive match than the Wigan game.

| Yeah if I lived in Warrington I'd probably do that double header but from ours it's just as easy to travel to Wigan and Huddersfield, and I'm sure the lad I'm taking would rather watch England (or possibly Australia at Wigan in the unlikely event of England topping the group). Ironically Salford - which is probably the closest ground geographically - is the biggest pain to get to because it's so far off the beaten track as far as public transport is concerned, but I want to go to a Scotland game.
Full credit to the RFL and RLWC organising committee for the ticket prices though because I'll fully admit I wouldn't be going to any game other than the final (which I promised last year I'd take him to) if they were normal Super League prices, but at £30 for five tickets I'm made up.

I've not tried getting there via public transport myself, so don't know, but this gives some tips
Yes there are some very good prices. Hopefully enough people realise and help fill as many grounds as possible. Plenty of RL fans moan about the state of the game - one of the biggest contributions the RL community can make to help the sport grow is to get behind RLWC2013 and help make it the best RL tournament ever.
I'll pass your positive feedback on to the RLWC2013 team.

| No worries, cheers. Yeah, I've got that bus to Salford before when we've played there. It just takes ages to get there whether on bus, train or tram, from central or south Manchester. I miss the tram ride to Weaste followed by a five minute walk dodging the natives!

| Really excited for the World Cup, it is such a huge opportunity for our sport. The organisers could not have done any more, we just need to get off our backsides and show the rest of the country that this great game is something worth sitting up and paying attention to.

I think they will be full or nearly full in the Salford sense of being nearly full.

Prepare to be wrong then. With many fans expected to be buying tickets nearer the time, most if not all the venues are already fuller than salfords stadium usually gets, on a good day!

I hope so. I've got tickets for the final and taking a big group down from work: when the email went round people seemed to like the idea of having a chance to see a World Cup Final as they are never going to get tickets for a football or rugby one. I'm also trying to organise smaller groups to go to 3 of the others. I do think the ticket prices are good value for money.
I also think the scheduling has been done a lot better this time than the 2000 World Cup - the Wembley double header for the semi is a good idea as the semi final that includes only one of the big three countries usually has a disappointing crowd.
The only thing I would have done differently was played all of France's group games in France and moved the quarter final that's in Warrington to Perpignan to give them a home quarter final.
My scepticism is based on the fact that even if the organisers get it all right, the rugby league public is not interested in the international game. They support their clubs and aren't interested in internationals. They might be interested in the sense of writing on forums to complain about lack of RFL marketing, players from their club being overlooked by England, but not actually turning up to games.
Even in Australia where rugby league is biggest, last time nearly half the fixtures had sub 10,000 crowds and the semi final in Sydney featuring the home team only got 15,000 odd. Compare that to Australia's union world cup semi final in Sydney in 2003 where the crowd was 82,000. Where were the other fans?

Looking at the world cup ticket website seem to be a lot of sold out sections... would seem to suggest otherwise

| It looks like the tournament will be a big success and as a game we need that. If we can get 50,000 on for the opener that will be a good starting point. The semis look like they've already sold about 35-40,000 and the final about 45,000 (rough guesses) so they both look well set for huge crowds.
After those big three games sales at Huddersfield for the England game look superb as do sales for games like Fiji vs Ireland. The games in France are nearly sold out as well.
I can't wait for it all.

| My sister and her family live in Ireland, and I'm still hopeful to be able to arrange a weekend over there and see the Aussie '2nd 13' put a cricket score on the Irish in Limerick. I'll be ordering tickets for both games in Warrington early next week and will then look at Wrexham and or Wigan venues closer to the events.
I was quite ambivalent about the whole competition until quite recently, but as the end of the season draws closer the appeal of the World Cup is growing on me daily.

| Sad though it may sound, I'll be more enthusiastic about the World Cup generally, and might end up going to a game or three more than I've already bought tickets for, if I'm a supporter of the Super League champions by the time it starts.
I won't be wearing Warrington colours to any games or engaging in "banter" with other fans whether we win it or not, as I never do either of those things ever anyway, so it makes no difference in that respect. It absolutely will affect my mindset though. After the last two play off series I've been so shattered that I've avoided RL completely until the following February and I'm dreading that feeling happening again in the next two weeks. I'll be going to the games I've posted above that I've bought tickets for obviously, but I won't be looking forward to them if we've blown it. If we're champions I'll be on cloud nine and champing at the bit for more rugby as soon as possible and as I say, may well buy some more tickets.
The bottom line is the international game is an enjoyable enough past time to appreciate as a relative neutral, but what Warrington do actually matters. I'm still massively impressed with the ticket prices though!

| On leaving the park royal hotel, this afternoon I noticed the World Cup been advitesed. Directly as leave the hotel car park. Rather impressed with this, due to the hotel been one of the best in Warrington. I wonder how guest would have seen the advert and had taken up the offer, shown on said advert.
