Mathers is a decent fullback most of the time but makes a horrendous blunder from time to time that ruins his good work. It sounded like a superb game tonight though so i'm sure Wire won't be too downhearted at the end of the day.

Mathers is not good enough for a team who consistently want to challenge for honours.

Sure, in other positions you can carry a player or 2 to save money on the cap, but not in a key position like fullback

Agreed. He's prone to an error everyweek, an error that costs us. Although he's very vocal i cant remember him puting his body on the line like most full backs do and even Riley.

Should of stuck with the same side as last week. But cant fault the effort though and i dont think Tony will let us have the usual after saints slump either.

Lets put it behind us, losing to only wigan and saints isnt bad at all so far and with two SL home games coming up, we should hopefully we can get back to winning ways
