It did seem to be club policy to scour the NRL for utility/sub hookers, who started out in the halves at junior level, to offer them a chance to play halfback.
i.e. Sullivan and then Monaghan.
Monas is definitely best used at hooker IMO, his game is better suited to it. We desperately need a specialist halfback to partner Briers next season (and a replacement for Briers in the medium to long term). |
