If we win the Challenge Cup then surely he'll be a front runner for it. The same goes for Hodgson if they win it. Would be nice to see it go elsewhere other than the top 2 for a change.

Has been won before by someone other than a player iirc. Man of Steel is not for the best player but the biggest impact on super league, so could be considered a contender.
Has been pushed into just picking the 'best player'. |

Don't think its that outlandish a statement.
Crabtree has been very good this season, as has Morley. Both teams are in the Challenge Cup final, but one is 3rd in the table and the other 9th.
FWIW I don't think either of them will win it. My money will be going on Brett Hodgson.
