| Quote: Winslade's Offload "Latu is a bit of a strange one. He obviously knows what to do with a step and body positioning to make those extra few yards, but why he can't be asked to get himself fit is beyond me.'"
There's something wrong here. He's had 6 weeks to get himself fit and yet he can't even make the 21. Strong suggestion that the player doesn't want to be here (UK). I don't know how much we're paying him but, so far, he hasn't done enough to justify the taxi fare to the airport, let alone the flight.

| Doro clearly has taken his disciplinary on the chin and decided to knuckle down and fight for his position, which is great to see and like to see him play. I genuinely think Latu is either carrying a slight injury which stops him giving his all, or he's one of those players that can't be bothered or will kick in once the weather does.
I can massively improve my fitness in 6 weeks so if he can't as a proffessional athlete screams he doesn't want to.
Maybe he's got the Aussie mentality who see Super league as a lower lever competion, and expects to automatically get a spot and has realised it's much harder over here than expected?

i'm not attempting to start any rumours, but has anyone seen him at the H&J on matchdays, normally you see the other non selected players milling about, entrance, on the bench, on the pitch at the end. i Can't say i've noticed his presence anywhere since he was here.

| Gelling should play his experience is invaluable, Doro should be given a game kids been knocking on the door for a couple of seasons, it would potentially give us three impact players off the bench, unfortunately Davies would have to drop out, I don't even consider Burrell to carry kit bag.

| Perhaps Latu is here for a contract holiday as with too many signings within the last 6 seasons.

Doro easily outplayed Kibula in the reserves match on Saturday. It's quite right that he's gone ahead of Kibula and Latu.
Luis Johnson limped off with what looked like a hamstring injury.

The one that played something like one first team game in two years, why do you ask?
I'm sure that Latu, Kibula, Patton et al will get their chance once the rest of the squad are in self-imposed isolation due to Coronavirus.

| I still don’t get why some people on here want to have a go at Burrell - he hasn’t been given enough game time to be able to judge him.
Latu is nowhere near fit enough to be considered - hence Price’s comments last week

| On the reserve highlights Burrell looked like he took his two tries very well...especially the second. He clearly has the raw ingredients to be a good player and the will to succeed so he should be a coaches dream. I don't think he's looked THAT at sea during his limited game time either.

| I've seen glimses of how good he can be but other times he seems to amble around not doing much or not knowing where he should be. But he's definately a big improvement on last year and he has this season and next to improve further

He did take those tries well. What the highlights won’t show is the ref penalising him twice for not playing the ball correctly, and also dropping the ball with no one near him when I think it was the 1st tackle.

We don't need to be too concerned about Burrell's readiness this season as he is not counting towards the cap. Where it becomes a problem is if there were pressures to play him before he is ready in order to justify the signing or the fact that we are forced to play him due to other players not performing.
As far as I can ascertain the inclusion of Burrell is the consequence of;
Hughes’ injury
Latu’s lack of fitness
Akuaola failing to set the world alight

| Akouala seems to avoid major criticism, he is a major let down as far as I’m concerned.
