No disciplinary system will ever be perfect in a sport like RL, I don't think the current system is too bad, but I'm not sure it's applied consistently, and too often there seems to be a blind focus on one type of infringement and in this case, similar to the Grix (I think?) incident @ Hull KR in years past, how do you, or should you take in to account the injury caused by the specific piece of foul play.

Anyway, this was against one of ours, so string him up I say!!

He may never be 'right again. Injuries of this nature can dog a player for the rest of their career I was really surprised when we improved his contract whilst out with the injury.

He's just tweeted, 'when people find out rumours about you before you do'.

So is injured and out or is he OK?

My son told me that it isn't serious and was taken off as a precautionary measure and should be ready for the start of the middle 8s

yes I would not risk him again this season if we cannot stay up without him we don't deserve to !!! still angry that he was kept on after his first injury even though it was a different knee as a result he would have been putting more pressure on his other knee.

Hopefully by the time he is ready to return we would have already beaten Widnes and Catalan and be in a strong enough position to not risk him anyway.

I've heard that it is a lot worse than first thought. We are currently sending him to the top specialist in the country to see what he can do, but it could be a career finishing injury.

Doubt that had anything much to do with it. Gerrard put his leg in a position that it wasn't meant to be.
