We were outplayed. And yet you won by a try and a kick. Bravo super league champions. Fact is we were odds on to score during that break. Sinfields misses we his fault entirely, not as a result of the reffing.

It doesn't matter what anyone on Sky says, and it wasn't the referees fault Leeds played far better than us. The scoreline flattered us not them.

We've now played eleven games, lost four of them and look well off the pace. We don't have the championship winning mentality that four previous Grand Final wins gave Leeds before they mastered the art of winning from fifth, so unless we improve quickly and significantly we won't be winning it this year either. We've been dreadful recently.

Not sure why nobody has mentioned how poor M Monaghan was. If Higham wasn't playing as good as he is we would be screwed.

Ive got a feeling a Riley scapegoat thread will appear somewhere and he did make a poor tackle attempt on Watkins..
But Ratchford kicked poorly and we made stupid errors and vital times all in all the first half was hideous..
I still think Mick Monas looks terribly off the pace and Benny Westwood isn't at his aggresive best either...

As for the Commentary team Hemmings and Stevo should just get themselves in the South Stand and chant Yorkshire...!

Recently we've looked like an average, 5-8 placed, Play-off standard side.

Tonight our goal like defending was unacceptable, our forwards didn't have any control in the ruck with or without the ball, our execution with ball in hand was unacceptable, our players looked out of shape and tired/weak, our kicking game was unacceptable...this isn't the standard that a Simon Moran/Tony Smith era Wire side plays at. Tony and Willy Poaching will be saying exactly that to everyone this coming week.

Yet we only lost by six points and we gifted Leeds three of their tries through some of the softest defending you'll ever see in Super League. We only lost by six points by a team that will likely finish first or second in the table this season.

This could just be poor form and all we need to do is build slowly as the season progresses and win four games at the end of the season. That's all we need to do. We are capable of winning four games in a row, so we just need to make sure we're ready to do so come September.

Briers has announced he will be back within the next few weeks so there is at least one positive to take from tonight!!
