| Retaining the Cup isn't something you can aim for. You could get drawn against Leeds away in the first round and the realistic amongst you would know the likely outcome of that.
As for SL realistically no one is going to stop Leeds winning at OT unless something stupendous happens to them. Wigan seem the most likely to have a go at challenging them, it just seems too quick with too few changes for Wire to go from tenth and easy beats to winning SL.
Top 8 would be progress for Warrington, top 4 a good achievement.

Of all the nonsense I have read on here, yourself being a proponent of such matter, that is up there with the best.

Saints aren't far off Wigan IMO, if they have an injury free season they would be up there, the gap isn't as big as it used to be when Hanley and Bell were there

Ask Atkins and Myler if they could be bothered going to Wembley next season.

| A run in the playoffs would be nice along with beating Saints and keeping our record against Wigan at the HJ.

You can certainly aim for it, but it's fair to say a tough away draw can ruin the best plan. However, as Warrington are always described as 'under acheivers' stating that top 8 would be progress is clearly wrong, as we've hardly ever finished outside the top 8 in recent years ( apart from last ). Top 4 would be a good acheivement.
