Quote: jonh "Good news for you lot top domestic player, clearly not World Class. I dont know where the Wigan link came from other than speculation.

I would have liked him at Wigan as i feel a new environment could have sitmulated him to perform as he did a couple of years ago which was world class, he has failed to hit those heights since.

Hopefully for the sake of GB and Wire the new conditioner and team mates can encourage him to step up to the level of previos performances.

I also think on current form there for Wigan will be better options for the money but if he does regain the world class form he is capable of then worth every penny of what im sure must be a significant contract.'"

£500k no doubt,

Your fellow Pies were adamant he had a clause in his contract allowing him to leave Warrington if we finished outside the 6, freeing him up to sign for Wigan.

So you can blame Tricky Dicky for us rubbing it in

Im not sure how this confirms he did not have a clause in his contract?

You haven't got the foggiest about Glees, or RL in general given your appearances on here.

Gleeson has done very well for us, his 'supa' Saints form is a myth, his under performing here is a myth (barr a ropey by his own standards 2006).

As i've said, next year, I think he'll be superb.

So, he played a pivotal role didn't he. If he'd only played in say 1, or a couple of sub appearances, he'd have been on the periphary.

Given the number of players that played in the series, what with players 'rested' & dropped, he must have done something right.

It doesn't matter though does it 'dredd', your blinkered hatred of Glees' goes before anything.

Pivotal-'Being of vital or central importance; crucial' and that describes Gleeson in the tests does it?

A Warrington fan slagging off one of his own is bad enough, but slagging off one of his own that happens to be one of the best centres in the world....

Either that or you aren't a Warrington fan, in that case, your opinion means about as much as Graham Appo

So looking at a players performance objectivily is slagging him off? I happen to believe that you don't have to take a blinkered view of a team to be a fan.

I assure i do not have a "blinkered hatred of Glees'", so yes it is a made up fact.
