You are living on your own planet mate! Some of us definitely [ido not[/i want a Wigan win next weekend. Wigan should not be found anywhere near Wembley for at least another 20 years. I'd much rather see Wire -v- Saints or Wire -v- Hudds than Wigan -v- anyone. So you keep your version of the rugby league family all to yourself!

| Too many brain farts in that game. Penalties for a spell in that first half kept them in the game by letting them piggy back up the field.
The Carvell dropped ball was the turning point for me. A stupid mistake by him. We should have completed that set and forced a drop out. It would have been game over.
I can't knock our effort or commitment but we make it too easy for the opposition a lot of the time with poor decisions and errors.
If Smith is going to take us up a level he needs to get us to be more clinical.
We wont beat Wigan next week playing like that.

I would say that Bridge's dropped ball en route to the line was the runing point IMO

| As much as I like Mathers and think he had been a Godsend and we deffo got a bargain with that deal. A Wigan fan who I used to work with said to me when we signed him...
"He's a good player, but i'll warn you now, he will lose you games"
I can think of two of the top of my head where brain farts have led to tries in very close games. Think he's an awesome player, but that phrase always sticks with me.

I read this post and couldn't stop laughing for about 15 minutes.
One Salford fan thinking he speaks for the whole of Rugby League. Now THAT'S priceless. Lol.
Tell me, how is your "coach's" legal proceedings going? Have you received your letter yet? icon_smile.gif

I doubt it, it's probably got lost in the post with their stadium planning application...

I thought their new stadium was meant to be ready by now.
Hopefully they won't get a franchaise next time round, allowing Widnes back in to Super League. Can't see what they bring to the table, their crowds are abysmal, don't really contribute much in terms of junior development etc.

| New stadium will just be the Willows renamed with a new coat of paint.
New stadium will never happen.

| Bridge shouldn't miss that goal.
That's what seperates decent players from champion players. Bit of pressure on Bridge, shanks it. Immense pressure on Sinfield, never in doubt.
When Cooper scored I thought "We can't lose now2, I was well aware of the draw, 60 secs later, I knew that would be costly.

Always did it for Leeds, but he'll win you more than he loses. He's capable of playing absolutely faultless games when his confidence is high.

| Would just like to say what a great game it was despite the loss.
Too many penalties in the first half but if we play like that and have 17 players (not 15) we will win a lot more games than we lose

Did he also tell you they gave him no support whatsoever and moan everytime he got the ball to the point that the lad had zero confidence left?

That's it exactly. The fans and Brian Noble were the reasons Mathers was poor at Wigan. Nobody else.
