| Best refereed match of the season. At last common sense prevailed on some of those tackles.

| Josh Thewlis and Paul Vaughan won us that game. The rest held firm enough but without those two contributions the game is a lot more touch and go. Also thanks Jack Hughes! Imagine getting more riled up at a PTB than Matt Dufty haha.

| Just a thought we play Castleford at home the Sunday before Wembley, surely that game needs to be brought forward to Friday night.

| Trout seemed to be involved in virtually all the big incidents. I think he was fortunate to remain on the field.

| What annoys me is that the old cliché of "Cup games are reffed differently" seems to hold true. Will watch it back now, but at least one of his involvements seemed to be worthy of a yellow by SL 2025 standards.
Anyway that was a monumental victory, everyone stood up and we really nullified a lot of their threat. Great win.

| A word for Ben Currie as well who I thought was immense today. A top class mature performance from him today and got through a ton of work

| A great effort to get to Wembley again. I think we are carrying a few more injuries than reported. I'm not sure this will help us in our regular Superleague games ... but Wembley is still important. Players love it & so do most fans. HKR are a very decent side ... but you never know.

| Terrific game that. Vaughan and Dufty were the obvious standouts, plus Josh Thewlis (I am going to have to search later to recall who said he has never kicked on the other week).
But among those who have perhaps not been as impressive this year, I thought King and Crowther had absolutely outstanding games.
I've no idea if playing Ashton when he clearly wasn't fit (and therefore losing Musgrove from the bench) was good tactics. But fair play to the coaching staff for the way we moved the ball in the first half - let's ignore the early scrum play - because we caused Leigh massive problems with it.

| First things first, Tai, King and Lindop need a gentle cuff around the head for charging out of the defensive line.
That aside, immense performance in energy draining conditions against a big, physical team.
Vaughan was absolutely superb. If he produced that in a Wigan or HKR shirt every pundit in town would suffer friction burns with the speed they dropped their pants.
Ben C was magnificent, as he has been for some time. STILL our most gifted backrower.

I'd say Wembley is the be all and end all, for our season. We're going to lose more games, so 4th 5th or 6th is our best bet, which will mean tough games , come September. We must put all our eggs in one basket, from where we are now. Anything else will be a welcome bonus

| Great performance and result It was tough going on the terraces so lord knows what it must have been like in the middle against a tough opponent.
Some brilliant attitude out there I thought Vaughan was magnificent along with other eye catching individual performances (Currie Dufty Thewlis and Yates were my pics) but the most enjoyable aspect for me was our injury induced scrambling, a real team effort.
Well done Wire.
On a slightly disappointing note was my walk back to my car with a group of Leigh fans and one chap in particular told me I should be embarrassed with the win all that play acting injury feigning stuff "watch it back you'll be embarrassed ah'll tell thee". "You won't be able to field a team next week" rounded off with the classic, "well it's always your year"
Ha ha what a twerp, although I'd be interested to hear from those that watched it on the Gogglebox, does our friend have a point?
