Its at the home of the highest ranked team. However I believe you have to use the club's Super League home ground and have it as a stand alone fixture.
With Wigan just being the minor tenants at the Dave Whelan Stadium I think they may not have sufficient spare cash to be able to justify paying the necessary extra hire cost for this additional fixture to its likely to be at the H&J Stadium next week. |

Just got back from Wigan; Wakefield were woeful but credit to Wigan for piling on the misery.
Should be a cracking final.

HJ has a game on Friday and three on Sunday.
DW could be used (it has previously) but talking to someone inside the club it appears that there is some ground work being done in the next two weeks.

Not sure how true it is but I did hear that the final has to be played at a SL ground. Although just not sure how ground works would stop Wigan playing at the DW when we're still playing at ours. (Then again, it isnt Warriors call is it!) |

I'd be surprised if it was on Sunday as the RFL have the Co-operative Finals at the HJ that day and they would have a lot of their personnel there. |
