Few years back Mark Hilton gained his relevant degrees and was teaching Maths at a high school in Warrington. As far as I know he still does.

Boots'n'All did a feature recently about SL clubs now putting more time and effort into educating their players and giving them opportunities that will give them a career beyond RL. Ours is a brutal sport and those like Morley who have very long careers are few. It's good that the clubs are taking responsibilty for the players that give them so much. I don't think there's anything wrong with the players have a side-career if it means they have something to move on to once the playing days are over.

I can imagine Sam working in Sainsburys - probably on the deli counter. Cheeky chappy - good at his job but hated in some quarters. Sam and Shiela's fling hasn't impressed Candice however. Candice (works on the Information Desk) has always had a soft spot for Sam and one day hopes they'll get together.
