To be honest having watched us on Friday and your game last night I'd have fancied Warrington to have won by about 15 - 20 points. Wigan's front row of Prescott. McIllorum and Coley (with Mossop and Tuson as interchange props) is as weak as the top end of Super League can offer (even allowing for Coley having a good game). I reckon a combination of Morley, Monaghan, Carvell with Wood, Harrison and Higham in support would have exposed St George's pack for the under-strength, pre-season pack it was.

I wouldn't get too carried away.
No doubt you'll be one of the top four teams this season, but you're start to this season has been far from spectacular (even with all your forwards intact, unlike Wigan)
In fact, you did exactly the same against Saints as we did, difference is that wire were just abit further ahead pointswise because saints had been so poor earlier in the game.

I must have imagined that we were playing without Clarke and Grix. The mind can't half play tricks on you...

Who I wouldn't have anywhere near first choice for wire........
That's like saying Wigan were without O Carroll and Tuson, hardly the same.

I thought you had a super squad? I think we had Carvell missing 1st week, we've also had alot of injuries to our backline.

why is it every time wire nullify the attack of another team, its the other team being poor??? had you done it to saints or leeds in the cc final then you would have been harping on about it for weeks!

Don't worry, you don't get to pick our team.
Clarke ahead of Higham in pecking order off bench, Grix first choice loose, so yes, both in full strength squad.
Don't be moaning about missing players. Lima was banned because he was a silly naughty boy ie: its his own doing. Our lads, PLUS Bridge and King, all injured.

Well perhaps when/if you get the chance to play them we will find out. Perhaps your marvelous pack should help you win some play-off games that could help.
Till then its just pie in the sky... No pun intended.

I can't wait until next year when we will batter any team that the Aussies put infront of us. It will be good to get back to the ways it use to be when teh likes of Bradford and Saints use to do England proud and win the WCC.

This super duper pack of yours was dominated by us in the challenge cup semi at widnes and it was also dominated by us last year at the DW, it was also being dominated by us at the HJ last year where we were well in control of the game until we lost both Monaghan and Briers.
Your pack when we played you in recent times had both Fielden (who was back in form) and Gareth Hock, it also had this slimmer version of the fat lad that you were all raving about last season.
I can`t honestly remember the last time a Wigan pack dominated ours since Morley, Monaghan, Louis Anderson and Carvell arrived, no doubt you will point to the game where a freak accident forced Morley off the pitch on his debut, like i said a freak accident and nothing more.

Honestly i nearly fell off my chair laughing at that, if you have any more keep em coming.
Seeing as you referred to hypothetical situation where you wanted to see how we may get on against the Dragons in the future, the only way to answer that at present is to compare both the Warrington and Wigan teams and the recent big game results between the 2 and where their strengths and weaknesses lie to see how we may get on against the Dragons, is that a bit hard for you to grasp ?
