B####cks!!!! The poster said that they felt physically threatened. The next spectator might be a 35 year old whos had one to many who decides to do something about it there and then causing other innocent fans to get caught up in the agro or (as in the case of my daughter) a 17 year old North Stand season ticket holder female who feel so threatened they end up leaving.

People are very quick to critise the club and the steards of not doing anything about this that or the other, BUT, if they aint told about it what are they meant to do.

Must admit , cant see how you could have been promised this. There is no mechanism that I am aware of for finding out what team a person who walks up to the ticket window and purchases a single or group of north stand tickets supports. As many said in the run up to the game, it was easier for a number of saints fans to acquire tickets from the HJ as they work in/around Warrington.

As regards your orginal issue..TELL THE CLUB ABOUT IT.

Yes,tell the club. It's not "grassing" it's reporting an incident so that the club can take action against trouble causers as and when they see fit. No one should be threatened or intimidated at an RL game,although you usually find that the tools doing the threatening are with a large group and want to make themselves look tough as some totally misguided act of bravado. Report them to stewards and let's see how tough they feel when they get ejected from the match and hopefully banned from the ground!

It was terrible and I'm having still having flashbacks. Shaven heads, beer guts, sloping foreheads, Borstal/home made tatoos, replica shirts from 1997, halitosis, body odour, unfathomable dialect, knock off trainers and the foulest, most debased, of language. The men were not much better either.

I doubt anyone cried to stewards or "reported incidents" to clubs two days later when rugby league was a REAL working class sport.

DKM, obviously feels its okay for a fan to feel threatened and yed i completely agree that he would change his mind if anything happened to him or a member of his family! i have contacted the club and await a reply, my friend was conveniently the steward in my area and i mentioned it to him at the time, yet not wanting any further action to be taken, nothing happened to me and i was happy with the fact that although they had won the game, me not rising to his loutish antics had annoyed him miles more than had we have walked away with those two points, and in my book thats a good result! shame the one on the pitch couldnt match it!
