I'd agree. With about 15mins to go wolves was on the ropes but I think briers. Stayed calm and put in some good kicks and the drop goal won it.

I'm made up for briers because IMO he has been wolves best player in super league. He can always do that something different and has very good rugby brain.

If we beat giants today I still hope briers plays at wembley and didn't get injured in the next weeks.

If we get beat today I want wolves to win in the final but only for lee briers.

Just saw Morley's hit on Fielden. It was a belter

Can't split Monas & Briers.

Monas took the game by the scruff of the neck 1st half and gone us into a winning position, then did naff all.

Briers was involved throughout.

King & Cooper were exceptional too.

Martin Gleeson and the 100k we got, what a steal.

After watching the game back a key moment was the kick chase from the restart after Wigan had closed to six points, particularly from Westwood and Morley (Westwood makes a one on one shot on Feka and Moz puts in the shot to cause the knock-on). The desire and enthusiasm shown at that point was immense.

King was excellent. Monas was superb when in at acting halfback. However Briers gets the vote for his leadership and the fact that he had a hand in so many of our tries.

Monaghan for me closely followed by Briers and King.

Monaghan for me, took the game by the scruff of the neck for 25 mins in first half and ran Wigan ragged laying the platform for the first half onslaught, the way he kept picking on Feka was a joy to watch.

Monnas just from Briers but they all deserved it a class performance from 1-17 bar the 20 min spell in the 2nd half but hopefully that 20 min spell will keep them focused for the remainder of the season ,another win v pies is a must on friday night imo !
A special mention also for the ref Ganson for trying to keep wigan in it that forward pass wouldn't have looked out of place in grid Iron

I thought the parrot that came on at the end with a Morley-like burst was in with a shout, particularly as he appeared to be carrying slimwire beneath his claws at the time !!!
