Spot on - Hicks, Johnson, V. Anderson, Grix, King. That's got to be the slowest backline I've seen in over 30 years of watching the Wire.
With a back 5 like that, we're only going to win games through a forward dominated attritional approach backed up by an excellent kicking game from the halves - position not possession. Bridge and Monaghan - I don't think so.
Give Smith time. He was always going to arrive for next season so be prepared to write this one off whilst he builds his own squad. Transition has commenced. Reardon and Gleeson have gone, there will be plenty more before we start to challenge. |

not trolling at all here as being a salford fan im hardly one to bang on about how good we are but your guys were truelly awefull tonight.
man for man warrington are a much better side than us but there didnt seem to be anyone who actually wanted to win that game for ur lot tonight.
terrible game with lots of errors but it just seemed like we wanted it a lot more than your guys- hicks missing his kick or not we deserved it tonight.

I would say they deserved to win because when it mattered (the last ten minutes) they pinned us back on our goal line and we could not get out of our own half for numerous sets.
They tried to gift us a lead in the first half but we couldn't quite hold on to the ball, I recall Harrison fumbling a couple of times and the nonsense from Bridge when inside their ten was very frustrating. |

we were shoking on the day and Reds deserved to win. But why for 75 minutes did we play one suicide pass and a drive. When we threw the ball out wide, we scored near the end.
Definate improvement in defence, and with a team like Salford anyone could concede 18 points and still beat them. But we are never going to score with the tactics we used.
Presumably, TS is getting one thing right at a time. Hopefully it will be attack against Cas.
