Just had a quick look at disciplinaries for the week and bradfords manakufoa or however u spell it. Is on there twice once for dropping with his knees on a prone player - result inconclusive on dvd as whether contact made. the other for late challenge on hodgson - again dvd inconclusive

Jeffries whispered to Bridge that his beard was inferior to his. Bridge took exception.......
In reality, it looked a lot worse than it actually was. Considering Bridge didn't make contact with his head then what exactly is the problem? And people comparing this to Tommy Lee's actions etc is funny.

if any player at ANY club makes a tackle like that he should get a ban
If his elbow had gone square in the throat he would have caused some serious injury

Answered your own question by saying 'if' he'd have landed on Jeffries throat. He didn't.
It wasn't pretty, granted. And he may get a game ban to think about his temperament, which I wouldn't begrudge. But sending him to the showers with margarine like some of the tool's on here are trying to advocate is plain ridiculous.
If we were languishing in 8th/9th position in the table, this topic would probably not have past the 'two page' barrier. |
