| Did Sandow walk over and clap the fans afterwards? That's a good sign if he did and a good time to see how he was walking/limping. He walked off the field unaided as somebody has already said so I'm hopefully it will only be a couple of weeks out.

He was definitely on the touchline at the end, no crutches. Here's to a quick recovery.

| Can garyhulsefan have a dream about Wire winning the league, GF, me meeting up with Nigella Lawson in the same hotel I pick my Euromillions triple rollover cheque and Shaun Johnson telling us how it is his dream to partner Sandow at Wire.

| A bad injuriy to have but a good time to have it.
Were in a position of comfort.
We can benifit as a team greatly by learning to win games without him.
We don't want this Briers Sinfield effect with Sandow.

Worth noting we played 55 minutes without him already. We drew 16-16 after he came off, and bear in mind we played a very conservative 2nd half to save energy knowing we had a comfortable lead. I think we'll be fine. Think Gidley and Ratchford will be a good halfback combo for the time being.

| I personally think losing Gidley is worse for us than losing Sandow.
Sandow is exciting to watch, but Gids controls the game. He provides the structure, bosses the forwards, has good game management and the amount of tackles he puts in is remarkable (he's our 3rd top tackler I believe?).
Gids and Ratch is a decent HB pairing with Sandow out, but if it were Gids out I'd be more nervous as Sandow and Ratch are both off the cuff players, we need a General like Gids.
Ratch will hold down the fort whilst MoS Sandow gets a well deserved rest.

| I completely agree with you I said the same thing after the match on fri we need to keep Gids fit for us to progress all the way.

| So we're likely to get him back sometime after the Wigan home game. Probably back for Wakefield (A) or Cas (H). We should have Dwyer back for Cas (H) too.
So in the meantime we have at least the following fixtures without him:
St Helens (H)
Huddersfield (A)
Widnes (A)
Wigan (H)
Challenge Cup 6th Round
Be very interesting to see how we cope.

It can be anything from 4 to 10 weeks, these injuries are problematic in rehab. I suppose we should be thankful it wasn't a grade three full tear.
Get that Cryo Chamber and Oxygen Therapy into action!
