I do want to wish all 17 who pull on a Wire shirt on Saturday all the very best - give it your best shot and win lose or draw I will be proud to be a Wire fan (but if you drift around and play like you've never been introduced to each other then I will be venting my spleen on here!)

Same, I'm going down and I'm going to enjoy it regardless. I don't think we stand a chance of winning but stranger things have happened. I think beating saints in a final would heal the wounds of the hoodoo, however I feel sick to the stomach about the prospect of losing to them adding to it!

You don’t know how lucky you are! Is it 6 Wembley appearances in 10 years? Most clubs fans would give their all for that! The best day out in the rugby calendar and you’re starring in it again!! Wow. Enjoy the day! Cry when they play abide with me have a few drinks sing your hearts out for your boys!! Wear that primrose and blue with massive pride! I’ll be doing just that in my black and white in the Mickey Mouse thing we’re involved with! Whatever the outcome good or bad be proud of your town and your club. Great point (11 years BTW). I'm a 'winning is all that matters' kind of guy but I do get an enormous sense of pride when my team's colours and badge are adorning Wembley.

I'm driving down and up, which I've never done before as I like enjoying the day with some bevvies. But if we win I'll be enjoying a night out in Warrington.

I expect us to lose but I expected us to win last year, and in 2016. You never know.

It's fun seeing the Saints fans who have bigged their team up as invincible all year hitting the brakes hard ahead of this one.

It would be their worst nightmare, massive favourites and losing to the “Wolfs”, if only.

I couldn't give a flying fat one whether you think I'm a true Widnes fan or not! 5 of us going, 3 in the Saints camp 2 in the Wire. Not all fans are bitter and twisted! I won't lose any sleep if Wire lose and I wouldn't be seen dead in primrose and blue but on this occasion I hope Warrington win. I'll then settle down to watch Widnes which I've done regularly for the last 49 years!

I know quite a few Widnes fans who are supporting Wire. I'd certainly be supporting Widnes were they playing Saints.

Some Widnes fans memory aren't so short as yours. They still remember when Widnes V neared the eleventh hour...it was the Good Doc and Simon Moran and the Warrington club...and most importantly the Widnes fans, that stepped in to help.
