| I'm going to say no... We can beat anyone the 2 Leeds games have shown that.. However we lack attitude and sheer grit and determination in games like yesterday when a team turns up ready for a battle.... The 2 Widnes games were prime examples and we were very lucky against them the other week..

| Skybet must know something we dont, they currently have us at 5/1 to win the grand final and Huddersfield at 16/1 who currently sit 4th. Well as we know to get a chance to go to old trafford we at least have to be 4th at seasons end,im confused at them odds.

| Top 4 ?
You're 'avin a larf !
4th to 11th are pretty inconsistent, so it's one from eight for me for fourth spot.
No - i simply can't see us doing it.
I think Hudds will. Brough showed why last weekend.
Any of the eight could do it by putting a run together, but I can't see us doing that at the moment.

| No.
Next 3 league games:
Salford (A)
Saints (N) at Newcastle
Catalans (H)
For me I don't think we have a chance against any of them. I hope I'm proved wrong completley.

Absolutely not. Haven't thought it all season. We are just an average side. Not an average side that is consistently average, but a side that is amazing one week then appalling for the next three and that is just another way of being an average side.
I think if Catalan and Huddersfield can keep players fit they'll finish above us as well as Saints (3rd) Leeds (2nd) and Wigan (1st). Castleford may well finish above us as well.
We lack so many things in so many areas it's painful when you think how good we were as recently as two years ago.

| the worrying thing for me is that we have played 14 games and the breakdown looks like this
games played well in = 3 (and one of them is wakefield at home)
games played badly in = 11
we wont win anything this season.. again

| In true Dragon's Den stylee "I'm out"
Unless we grow a backbone (which doesn't look like happening, anytime soon), then we've not got a chance of top 4. Anyone who thinks otherwise, is simply taking club love, to a new level.
Take Ben Westwood out of that side, and we've NOT ONE PLAYER, who'd hold his hand up, and say "I'll give EVERY last fibre of my soul, to help us win".
Hill's an awesome player, and would make an excellent fist of it, at ANY team in the world, but he's all about work. He needs a little bit of "nasty" about him, a la James Graham (but not the disciplinary aspect) to help get us back to the level we need to be.
Sims, despite all his "huffing and puffing" when he goes into the tackle, just isn't at the level he needs to be, or we need him to be.
Asotasi really is a laughing stock. It's beyond funny, now. His Wire "career" has descended into the realms of Monty Python's deepest levels of surrealism.
Ben Harrison. He might "mix it", but it'll take him 5 minutes to get there (surely the slowest forward in modern day RL)
Currie & Laithwaite. It's like expecting to be savaged by a dead sheep. It's almost as if we've got Sgt Wilson from Dad's Army saying "Would you mind awfully, if I tackled you? Oh you don't! Good show"........[sizeGET IN THERE[/size
Until our pack buck their ideas up, we're going nowhere, fast.
I think we'll finish in ANY position, ranging from 5th to 10th. It all depends on the attitude/motivation of the players.

| Unless we find a way of defending our line we will struggle this season. We seem to be scoring better lately but opponents are breeching our defence with ease...how many weeks are we in to the season & the issue has not been addressed by the management...shambolic & reminiscent of the last days of Cullen.
I would not be surprised to see massive blood letting by our new CEO come season's end if dramatic improvements are not made....he hasn't come here to fail especially in his pay packet.

| I was asked last night which players I would clear out I took a deep breath and said
Wheeler, Russell, Laithwaite, Harrison, Atkins, Asotasi, Ben Evans, and Ben Currie.
Wheeler is just not up to a physical sport
Matty Russel is not as good as Mathers and We improved on Mathers
Laithwaite I do Like him, he does nothing wrong but that's not enough...he's no Louis Anderson.
Harrison his knees are shot, and he no longer has an offload to his game.
Atkins sad sad decline.....
Asotasi the worst ever.....I wish he would off I don't know enough swear words to describe his contribution to this club.
Evans.. never really strung any appearances together. shame about his injury, he's not better than Mike Cooper.
Ben Currie for the wedge he is on, if he thinks one nice pass a game cuts it well it doesn't and I've upset people before with my views on his inability to "put his hand up"..... he's no Solomona.
we have a lot of average players one absolute garbage player and we have some good players that cant be d I'd rather they weren't at our club anymore thanks....

| Yes we will finish in the top 4, all these comments are all if's and maybe's, lets turn it on its head and say that we cant be this bad all season, so when Atkins, Bridge, Myler, Hill, Joel, ect all hit form we will be unstoppable, and they will at sometime during the season. We have played crap all season and are still a few points of 4th spot, players have not yet hit form, everyone (including me) bought into the "every second counts" but lets be realistic it doesn't. Tony Smith and the Warrington management including Agar. have planned the season on when they need to peak and when they don't and they know that some games have gone wrong some have gone right, but we are in good shape ready for the peak and the upturn in performance.
As with the last few seasons you do not need to raise your game for every match, only the ones that count. They will come good trust me!!

| We have THREE home games left Catalan Wigan and Saints..... all three teams have put thirty points or more on us in the away fixture this season.
We have to go to Salford, Hull KR, Cas, and Huddersfield which wont be easy. Plus Saints in the magic weekend. So apart from Wakey away I'm not seeing many easy two points in those few remaining games.
I don't see a side capable of getting into the top four, I see a side just about dragging its smacked backside in to the eight. And as we carry the points we have over into the super 8's, we'll be in a difficult position to try and get anywhere in the playoffs...
having never strung more than two wins together, to expect us to suddenly go on a nine match winning run and steam in to the top four and off to old Trafford is beyond funny.....

Not a pop at you, marshman, but this kind of attitude in modern day sport absolutely stinks, for the following reasons
a) this is now an entertainment business.
If people are turning up to see their team lose, they're going to get peed off, pretty quickly. To not even get 10,000 for a home game, against a team that brought about 1000-1500 specs (so THEY'VE travelled in decent numbers), it's not a week night, it wasn't raining, and it wasn't televised is poor. We've lost on the back of it. I can't see a scramble for future games.
which links into
b) punters are paying up to nearly £30 for a game/£X00's for a season ticket. They need to be kept interested/incentivised to come again
c) Players must raise their game for every match. It's call professionalism, and having a bit of pride in yourself
d) I didn't know we had Mystic Meg on our payroll. Players knowing when to raise their games, so we automatically get 2 points. Well that theory worked well against Wigan, Saints and St George, didn't it? We got loads of match winning points/players bonuses on those nights, eh chaps. Lets get the 2 points every time we leave the dressing room
Can I remind us all, we've already lost at home to Cas, Hudds and Hull, and struggled/stuttered to wins against HKR and the Smellies. Not exactly making the rest of SL change their underwear, are we?
3-4 years ago, we were demolishing these sides, with near "cricket scores" against them.
These days, specs are turning up wondering if we'll even win.
I say players and management need to start custard smelling, and treat each game as a must win, not "well, we'll give it a go, c'est la vie, if we lose"
