I actually think the 5402 figure is the reduced capacity figure. If you add the 4 stands capacity up then it comes to the reduced 24k including the two ends being 5402.

I'd be suprised if we did not fill the away end. We've done it in the past when we've had to spill into the side stands and we weren't realistic title contenders at that point.

5400 is full capacity, you will have been allocated this less 10% - Approx 4860

The capacity might say 5402 for the South & North Stands, but that doesn't actually mean that 5402 are actually available for sale for those stands. For what it's worth, 5402 is the number of seats in that stand so before the 15% H&S is taken away. South Stand will certainly be sold out by Wednesday morning at the very latest though.

The confusion was due to the fact that the ticketing system has the four stands adding up to the reduced 24k capacity, however as per my post, it looks like the West Stand is down by 1k on the system, which is probably the hospitality sections. When you add this 1k, and then remove this from the two ends, it all adds up again.

Correct, the online plan doesn't include the executive area, press box, directors box or disabled areas which are all included in the overall capacity that is quoted.

does it really matter? as long as your there and you enjoy it then so what if there is a few empty seats here and there!!

I'm hoping to buy a ticket today and pick it up from the H & J on Friday morning. If I think on, I'll ask how many we have left so we can all fill our 'Away Day Armada' wall charts in. Crucial for those all important arguments and willy waving on attendances.

And what about those pointless arguments about who makes more noise and who out sings who? Maybe games should be decided not on the pitch but by one of those 'clapometer' things they used to have on 'Opportunity Knocks'.

If you just want noise everyone could bring those wendyball vuvuzelas but what a disaster for atmosphere they are.
