| Weren’t this bad under Price and most on here were calling for him to go. Not been this bad since Reggie Bowden was in charge.

| Even more worried now. Powell is paid to transition from Price's processes to his own. All he has done is confuse , he has tried to change everything too quickly It has resulted in a lack of confidence in the team, morale and results. Shambles!

Price had 4 years to lose 3 knock out playoffs and leave a poorly performing squad behind. Our problems are many and varied, Powell will get the season at least I hope.

That squad was performing better under Price than Powell, to be fair though. Maybe as a coach Price was more popular with the players than the fans - for whatever reason.

| Perhaps we have to lower our expectations to Castleford former levels. If you sign a coach who produces average performances on full cap, why should we expect the same here with the same cap.

| Slippery slope this. Realistically, with HKR, Salford and Huddersfield the next three we could win all three and buy some time with the difficult run of Wigan, Catalan, Saints and Leeds.
Slip up in those three though and you’re then looking like we NEED to beat those big teams just to keep pace.
Tough job the Warrington role. It takes a special coach to connect with both the fans and with the players. At the moment, Powell has neither.
Price (for all his knockers, myself included) got the fans on side early. Going for a drink in the match day pubs and getting the bus to the stadium with fans went a long way and got him some loyalty. Powell is already having “frank conversations” and then relaying them to the media, which is a ploy to show his dominance and control. Not sure it will connect with the fans though, unless he starts putting some underperforming stars in the stands.

| He needs to sit King in the stand with immediate effect for a start, along with his mate Matautia. Powell gloated after the Cas game about how he’d made the right decision with Matautia over Mamo…not looking so clever now Daryl as Matautia is woeful…yet that is an improvement on King.

| Based on this part of his post match interview he must be ready to drop people “I feel like I’m butting heads with some of them about the way we want to play.”

This is the interesting one. Nobody is bigger than the club and Powell must get respect from the players or show that he has the balls to take action. If people aren't following his instructions, he's at the helm, he's deciding how we play, if you've got people pulling the other way, he needs to take action be that an arm round or a cut and it sounds like the latter is needed

Powell has delivered the same number of GF appearances as Price on a fraction of the budget.
Just because we are having troubles now doesnt mean Price was a good coach. Remember the 3 playoff exits if you need a reminder

| Powell probably didnt realise what a bunch over overpaid, lethargic, entitled players he had inherited.
half of them are probably up the stairs, knocking on Morans door to say 'ewwwww, we dont like this new coach, get a new one'.

| Surely Powell will be the next SL coach to go. You can’t accept this can you? look worse than under Price. The players he brought with him from Cas were not even the best at Cas. Be ruthless and instigate change. You’ve hardly got any injuries or suspensions either.

| im all for giving him a season or 2... as most of this isnt his doing.... BUT, if he cant get this lot up for a scrap, then his position is 100% at risk.

We’ve completely no chance of beating Huddersfield
