If someone responds in a personal way about a post I've made, I'll get personal back. But it's heat of the moment. In the same way that It's heat of the moment when it's sent in my direction.
Top 5 is where I'll think we'll be next season if Powells in charge. Its not particularly brave, just how I see it and reasonable given the additional changes next season.'"
Should we be aiming for 5th place? Do Wigan and saints aim for 5th place? Your post just epitomises the fans that keep us away from the top table. But carry on with your support of Powell, I'm sure it'll help you sleep better at night

Next year, with Powell in charge, we will be top 5. Mark my post if you like.
Anyone disagree.'"
Top 5? Whats the point in that? Why bring him in to change a culture if all we get out of it is a lousy middling season that we get nothing out of again lol? No, next year we win the GF or he can peas off.

F*** me. What has Luke Gale directed this year?

| Luke Gale? We’d be better off with Gail Platt.

| Now I’ve slept on it, I’m even more annoyed. Conceding on the stroke of half time AGAIN. We had plenty of possession, come up with 6 points off a kick. Conceding buckets of points down our right side again.
We’re not learning lessons. Just not prepared at all. No resilience.
And there can be no blame put on the fans this week, the crowd made an absolute racket and really got behind them.
It’s time now, it’s as simple as that. There is no plan and no resilience. We can’t attack, we can’t defend, we’re not as fit as other teams, we can’t kick to relieve or build pressure and we’re not united.
We played well, for 30-odd minutes while they coughed up possession time and again, and have 6 points to show for it.

If only we had a young kid with a kicking game who we could throw in for experience. Maybe someone who was involved in most of our best performances this season.
Seriously as soon as we are avoiding the drop ( ) Riley Dean should have a chance to develop his game. Behind a better pack (which we will very much have next season) he will be a lot less exposed.

| Welcome to last chance saloon. The Toulouse game is, for me, the most important game since the Cullen era and I'm dreading it.
Whatever their limitations they will throw the kitchen sink at us, and if they establish a lead like they did v HKR I sincerely question whether we can turn it round.
Technically and tactically there were things v Wigan that should have been much better - kick protection for Wrench and Thewliss, not putting our kicks straight down French and Fields throat etc.
But we won't fix those issues in 5 days. We'll have to rely on guts, desire, tenacity and spirit. Oh boy.

| I see Powell has thrown players under the bus again in his post match interview. You could clearly see the england womens football coach was a class act and when asked what her secret was the players usually went for her composure, clarity and giving them the freedom to make mistakes. Our nervousness all comes down to Powell. There is no joy in our team.
Our performances on the pitch and his afterwards are just not acceptable. I think Amor’s comments regarding being unprofessional we’re aimed at Powell because he isn’t professional it’s all someone else’s fault. Those full time pizzas at Cas always made him look cheap and he is. He’s an absolute shocker and I cannot wait until he’s sacked.
Ps block Gazwire/Daryl it will improve your life

| On another note that Michaele for me is having zero impact but not the only one may I add and he looks knackered by half time so needs to seriously improve or could be another waster we’ve signed.

| Some of the most rotten, spoilt, self entitled bile I've read on here. I hope other fans don't read some of this - it's beyond embarrassing.
There are other teams in this competition apart from ourselves including saints and Wigan who are miles ahead. Leeds who spend to the cap, are a much bigger club than us and further ahead in their rebuild. And Catalan, who are at least as well resourced as us and again, are much further ahead than us.
That's 4 teams who will be understandably above us next year and that puts us in 5th, providing we can climb above Hudds and Hull who might improve.
So which of those 4 teams is anyone expecting to rightfully displace?
Those laughing at the Luke Gale suggestion probably can't draw the parallel between his potential contribution and Lee Briers at the end of his time at Warrington - who was vital despite being on his last legs. These people probably don't think we need a kicking game either, but I won't waste my time explaining why a RL team needs a kicking game to complement the rest of its attacking facets.
'people moaning at 5th without considering the other teams vying for the top 5 - beyond laughable and beyond embarrassing. I really, really hope other fans don't see some of this
Pure deluded stupidly has no bounds on here

He was a big injury doubt though and is our best prop. Teams have worked out how Powell uses him and they plan for his arrival. It will be a lot harder to contain him next season and when he is fully fit.

Why have we brought in Powell and gone through this absolute SH+TSHOW of a season, just for next year to be just as abject as 4th place finishes under Price though? If next year we finish 5th place after all this overhauling, kicking and screaming, then why bother in the first place??? Why not just stick with Price who had us consistently in the mix? If all Powell is going to get us is 'back in the mix' then thats just lunacy. Sorry but I need to see us to get over that final hurdle otherwise I see no point at all. I don't care about the other teams. We're "building something special" well if "special" is mid table in 2023 then just feck off.

Can you imagine Wigan or Saints setting a target of "5th" because there are other teams. It's soley lacking in ambition. No wonder we have never won the GF if we have fans buying season tickets and NFTs on the back of 5th place.

We consolidate next year aiming for somewhere in the top 5 then the following year we push higher. I would like us to challenge for the top and expect us to be higher than 5th because I have faith in Powell. But 5th is probably about par given all the changes and incoming players in the close season.
Given that the other top 4 teams have equally high aspirations, are similarly resourced and are further ahead of us, what makes you think we should automatically be above any of those before time. Especially considering 3 of those have excellent coaches already in place. Mcnamara - not so sure - but they were close to winning the GF last year.
Please enlighten me?
Which coach do you rate higher than Woolfe, Peet and Smith at Leeds?

| To be fair we’re now dreaming of fifth place thanks to Powell. I’m amazed he’s still in the job, he’s utterly clueless. I think he may have overtaken Lowes in my eyes as the worst Warrington coach in my lifetime.
Lesson to be learnt - NEVER employ a Yorkshire coach again.
