| He's been on a par with the majority of the team, sort of 6.5/10
I doubt his form will drop so expect him to start throwing in the odd 8/10 performance

| Joel has clearly struggled, but I don't think he's one of the poorest, I just think his passport gets him more grief, just like Waterhouse's does. Let's be honest, Chris Bridge hasn't been in sparkling form inside of him, whilst Blythe has hardly been Martin Gleeson when he's played, has he?
I think some people just expect the world of some players even though it's clear we've been struggling as a team. Once form returns and Briers is lofting kicks to the corner, and Bridge is spotting the gaps and putting him away, everybody will be silenced again, lauding him as the best winger in the league.

| Alot of Leeds fans were wanting Burrow to be shipped to Castleford early last year but he turned his form around and played pretty well towards the end of the season. There is plenty of time for players to turn form around, which the coaches thankfully recognize compared to a lot of knee jerk reactions from fans wanting players dropped everytime they play badly.

| Joel was really up for it today and took his tries very well. I hope he continues in the same vein on a consistent basis from now on. He has looked a bit sluggish in some games of late.

"big wingers". '"
Really? Is that why he used to pick Francis Cummins & Mark Calderwood at Leeds? I mean, they're both "famously" big wingers.
...then there was Marcus St. Hilaire when he was at Huddersfield, yet another "big" winger.
What you'll find is that he picks the winger he feels is capable of perfoming best - regardless of their size!

| He is a a more than capable winger and makes more of a contribution than people seem to give him credit for. As for statistics ..... remember Henry, playing outside of Gleesen he 'was world class'. Playing outside me he would have been not so 'world class'. JM is at the end of the line so if the line is not functioning he suffers. He finishes well which is his job. Pace is not absolutely everything, although it is useful for sure. JM is more of a 400m runner, once he is through and up to speed he just keeps going. Other wingers are up to full speed after a couple of strides, JM isn't like that.

Good morning Mr Teeside, I would like a small slice with custard if possible, but, only a small one for now.
He still looks a little unfit to me, maybe it's just him and he always looks out of breath after a bit of action. I hope he continues to play for the shirt and delivers, as I said no one would be happier than me if he delivers.
You might not believe me, but, I didn't contribute to the thread craving failure from him or any Wire just an opinion based on pre CC form. let's have a bit more please form and pie

Double S in Teesside please. I've eaten cratefuls of Humble Pie in my time, for example the signing of Brett Hodgson was severely criticised by me at the time. I know you wouldn't crave failure from a Wire player. Keep the faith.

Happy Dayss.
All we need now is a decent cup draw tomorrow and a steady improvement all round, including support. If we aren't enjoying oursselves now we never will.
