McGoldrick got the ball not the man. McGuire went down like he'd been shot in the opening scenes of Saving Private Ryan.

I think it more down to the Cass No8 missing two tackles in the build up to that try.
Feel sorry for the Leeds supporters in a way because I cant see that they've got a cat in hells chance of beating the Pies - and I suspect they know that as well.

| Leeds were poor, and cas out did them in most aspects of the game, but I do feel that Leeds will give Wigan a better game.

Eh?
Granted, the attacking rugby on show was poor but it was enthralling to watch.

Everything about that match was poor, only exciting player on the pitch was Rangi Chase.
Suppose you do watch Wigan most weeks, so I can see why you might have found it enthralling.

I agree. Wasn't a classic by any means, but nor was yesterday's game. Nevertheless, both games were good contests to watch. I don't get all this "it's a poor advert for rugby league" garbage. It's not an advert, it's a game, a semi-final at that. So what if someone from Norwich or Basingstoke or Durham turned over to watch something else. It's not basketball, and not every game which happens to be on telly can be a 34-32 end-to-end thriller.

| Never a penalty, that said had he not given it, I think Leeds would've just picked up the loose ball and scored although saying that, it was Weller Hauraki who was there to swoop/make a hash of it.
I didn't think it was boring.

| How the hell did Sinfield get Man of the Match?????
Just for 2 goal kicks?
By the way, it was a penalty at the end. Went for the ball, but ended up slapping McGuire in the face.

I am not sure about that, initial contact was on the ball, McGuire went for the full Oscar winning performance.
With regard to MoM, nobody really stood out except maybe Chase. What a player he is, astonishing.

I agree, the highest point of contact was on the shoulder. Never near the face.

Not quite sure about that. McGuire cut inside, McGoldrick was wrong footed and caught him on the neck / chin. it was just a a regular high tackle, not malicous just careless. If it hadn't happened in the dying minutes nobody would have had an issue with it. If that wasn't a penalty i don't know what is.

Although to be fair, Child was the touch judge and it was he who called the forward pass for JJB's disallowed try.
