If true, then Dwyer must have been moved-on to another club......Maybe Salford??

I'd rather have dwyer i think and trust danny walker to do mostbof every game. Most wigan fans dont rate Sam Powell.

From what I've heard its aswell as Dwyer rather than instead of.

I think it is reasonable to expect a legitimate DoR to have input on the appointment of the coach.

Also over on Wigans board we are moving Kasiano and King to Saints and will be covering some of the salary to be able to get Olam in. All very odd, when I first heard of Kasiano to Saints I’d been told that a deal had been worked out that would enable Mikaele to stay. It’s changing faster than the weather lately.

I don't think the Sam Powell rumour is true, or that we are shipping King out.
If Powell is coming in there would have been no reason to announce Dwyer if we're immediately shipping him out.
King is a decent centre that currently plays for England and will only cost us 50k on the cap. It makes Zero sense that we would shop him out to another club. Justin Olam would cost a fortune and i can't see him being a big game changer.
Shipping Kasiano out seems like an actuall possibility if Burgess doesn't want him, but he was superb the first 8 games for us before the wheels fell off for the WHOLE team bar 2-3 players.
I hope the supposed player round a bout is all bullpoop rumours, as it's just more disruption again.

I don't rate king, but even if he was the world's best centre he clearly doesn't want to be back here. No point having a player who doesn't want to play for you.

He said along the lines that this is the team, every one has a clean slate, and there may be some additions later. That’s not a quote btw.

The Powell rumour came out while he was out long term, during the summer when Pies signed Leeming. Powell wasn’t offered a contract.
I’d steer clear if it were me. Pies seem to see his shoulder as a risk at 32 next season. As do I.
There was some rumour that he was going to Aus. I can’t see any NRL team wanting a 32 year old with a questionable shoulder.
Wire have already made that error with Widdop, you’d hope that might have learnt a lesson!?
He’d probably end up at Huddersfield as they seem to have a thing for signing aging players.
