| Quote: lefty goldblatt "The most exciting player I've seen in Wire colours
Johns (although for only 3 games) and Langer were TRUE genii (is that the correct plural for genius), BUT, they were your typical Aussie halves, but a million times better.
NO
I'm talking about sheer excitement
The first two seasons of Kevin Penny was just superb.
Richard Henare......fantastic, unfortunately, Gazza in a rugby jersey
Dessie....such a pity we got him at the latter end of his career
which leads me to the other two
Mr Davies and Mr Blake.
We're just lucky that we've seen the 3 of 'em.'"
Really agree. I've been watching since 1989 and I would say he is the most gifted player I've ever seen in a Wire shirt.
And one of the most gifted players I've ever seen play for any team. An amazing player and worth the admission fee
on his own.

| Exceptional. Simply exceptional. No idea how long he will be out for, just hope he comes back in the same vein of form.

in that case, gazwire, you were VERY unfortunate to miss the talents of Mr Blake.
As the Macron Video commentary bloke use to say
"Phil Blake............ 'e's a wonder boy"

| Every week.
Week before we play x team.
x teams fans "he's not that good"
"if he was any good he'd still be in the nrl"
"He's a bit overweight"
"He can't defend"
"He was rubbish last season"
Soon as game is over v x team.
"He's special"
"He's unplayable"
"Wow"
"Privilege to watch".
Seemed to ve the formula every week so far.
personally i think he's ok but he wanted to let someone else win April's player of the month.

Could make or break our season this!

| We've not seen how we will play without him yet.
Patton will get a run now which will be good for him - let's look for the positive. Hopefully he'll only be out for a month or so and in the mean time Dec can get some good game time. Wigan only came back in it as we tired, we have plenty of players able to make us play
Will we miss him? - Absolutely, can we turn Saints, Fartown & Widnes over without him? Absolutely.

| We know we can play without Sandow, 12 nil up when he left the field the score at the end shows that but he gives the team a lift and confidence in attack. Glad it's only saints and hudds next 2 weeks. I'm confident we can win both even without Sandow. Gidley needs to stay fit though.

| def a big miss but to say we are doomed without him is ridiculous, lot of players have stepped up this year we are far from a 1 player team in my opinion...

| Seems to be a similar reaction to Jamie Lyon(s) at Saints.

| He would be a loss for any team! But we can cope, I also don't think he will miss that many games. He was walking ok leaving changing rooms and no crutches were used even as a precaution. So maybe 2/3 games which will be good for patron to get a few games too

| We'll miss him for sure, he's sheer class the most exciting and entertaining player in the league. Can we still beat saints and hudds without him? Definitely. I don't want him to be rushed back, he's too important to risk a long term absence. I wish Rhys a speedy recovery as well.

| Several players really stepped up when Sandow left the field last night including Clark (who was superb) and the much maligned Atkins.

| Apart from Atkins going to the wrong man twice in defence, his attack and energy was excellent and that try was brilliant.
