From the Warrington Guardian website:
THE Rugby Football League will be announcing the venues for the Carnegie Challenge Cup semi finals tomorrow.
Wolves will meet Catalans Dragons in the second semi final on Sunday, August 9, while Leeds Rhinos will meet St Helens in the first crunch clash on Saturday, August 8.
Rumours of the Wolves clash possibly being played in France are understood to be false.
Widnes Vikings' Stobart Stadium hosted last year's battle with Wigan, while Leigh Centurions' Leigh Sports Village could also be a contender.
The LSV has been handed the England versus France international on June 11, highlighting how it is being regarded as a major events venue by the RFL. |
