| Quote: Saddened! "Never our fault? Don't make out we're like Liverpool. I'm not saying we never commit fouls, or even bannable fouls (Hurrell for example). I'm fine with Saints players getting bans, provided we're treated the same as the other teams across all the games. But we aren't. Look at the Cas v Leeds game. Several incidents in that, three late shots (1 picked up for Bentley, the others completely ignored), two blatant high shots, contact with the ref and abuse of the ref picked up on the televised footage. If that was a Saints game we'd be looking multiple bans. If the Knowles challenge happened in four games, it'd likely be ignored in two, charged at a fine in one and banned when it's Saints. That's how it is this year.
The treatment of Saints this year isn't them reeling us back from preferential treatment as you make out, it's a mard reaction to the disciplinary process being embarassed by Mike Rush over the Knowles appeal. That's all it is. They felt the same as you and everyone else who isn't a Saints fan did when they had to overturn that ban because of technicality. Now we're getting that back with two fingers. Just shows what an amateurish sport it is.'"
Just out of interest how many bans did Bentley cop when he played for saints? Has he got dirtier at Leeds? or did the disciplinary immunity just vanish as soon as drove out of Mcmanus drive? You decide.

| I'm buzzing Kasiano hasn't been cited, i would like to see him come off the bench though rather that start at 13, BUT he's been good starting as well. I would like to see Philbin start at 13 with Kasiano causing chaos off the bench.

That's what I would go with as well given current player availability.

He as even spouted it on the virtual terrace, it’s got laughed at on there also.
It’s rather embarrassing tbh, getting all a bit Lance Armstrong everyone cheats but Saints.

| It’s absolutely pitiful it really is. What a club! For all their success I’m glad I’m not a supporter of that lot.

| Billinge Lump is alive, to the sound of whinging.
No naughty step timeouts for our players, which is good to read.

| When I read the sad one's post I thought I had tinnitus; turns out it was just the sound of tiny violins playing instead.

Kasiano caused chaos from the start v Leigh with that pass to Dufty that led to Josh Drinkwater’s try!!!

Despite being unable to field some of the squad, there's still a good problem to solve.

| Blimey, a saints fan moaning about the disciplinary process, how ironic. Thought they were the darlings of the British game who have made us all so proud with their antipodean antics back in February?! Spare me. They've had it coming.

Powell seems to like a ball player at 13, a big ball player. Philbin extremely limited when it comes to his ability to play with ‘soft hands’.
Unless Philbin has been working on that side of his game. Hopefully he has, but I think he’s more the battering ram rather than the player who can do both, ie Kasiano, McGuire.
Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Was going to post similar and I guess it’s why Clark has been playing that role in the interim.
Thought the Leigh 13 looked good in that role on Fri.
