Depends on when I start to try and finish off my bottle of Advocaat, it could be snoring by 10.00 pm, or a long night.
I'll toast young Mr Thomas on his first try.

| I'm glad we won today, I'm glad some younger players were given an opportunity, I'm glad young Thomas scored a try, I'm glad the season is over.

| I've never been so glad for a season to be over yet so consumed with apathy for all things Wires.
The root cause analysis should begin right now to ensure we never sink this low again. 2023 is going to be a tough sell for the club, but some soul searching as opposed to the sounds of brushes and carpets would help.

| We’ve not had a decent attack since 2013 and during that time we’ve also become physically weak. The Wire identity that I grew up with was one of toughness. At the very least we were always pretty fearsome and teams did not relish playing us.
I suppose there could be a slight return to that with the physicality of the upcoming pack and the dog of McGuire. That will be one box ticked for me, but there’s quite a few more to go.

Very true. Those teams in the 80's were hard, no backwards steps. We may not win but no one took the . We had a hard pack again with Morley, Carvell, Andersen, Westwood.

| Luke Thomas really stood up today, was impressed with his direct runs & took his try very well I thought. Bullock was again very solid & direct and Nicholson shown up well on the edges too. It was a difficult game to watch at times given the amount of errors and penalties in the game, but it’s pleasing to see a lot of the younger players getting their opportunity.
There’s a lot of work that’s gotta go on into that off-season and pre-season. We’ve been miles of time and time again this year, It’s been really hard to watch this season. I give Powell 5/6 games next year he’s on very thin ice…
Was pleasing to see Jason Clark get a nice send off like that, he’s not the biggest or the baddest but I thought he always tried his heart out and gave 100% on the field for us..

| JC was most certainly not one of the so called 'bad eggs'. Good luck to him on his next adventure.

Wish Jason Clark well. Agree that he was a trier, but I don't think he was quite what we needed, or need going forward, as his best days were behind him.

| Jason Clark is a legend according to the club's Twitter which is a tad embarrassing. Whilst I would in no way describe him as a legend, Mike Cooper is closer to it.

| Whether he's a legend or not (I tend to agree that he isn't btw) what I did enjoy about yesterday was Clark's well deserved send off. Makes a pleasant change waving someone off without the usual palaver and bad feeling it's how it should be.

With the way the other players joined-in with the fans` applause for Clark, he is obviously very much appreciated and respected by his colleagues.

So a Warrington legend is anyone who plays 75 games and sees out a 4 year contract with instantly forgettable performances.
I'm sure he is a great guy etc but "legend" never.

Neither of them are. Clarke was a steady, committed import and Cooper was a superb front rower but neither deserve the overused legend monicker.
I don't want, or need, to start another discussion on who is deserved of being called a.legend but safe to say no-one in the last 8 or 9 years qualifies.
