With all due respect,I see they brainwashed you, well.
Just exactly in what direction are the club heading? Attendances dwindling. Defeats week after week. Club stalwarts leaving. 5h1t3 recruitment.

Did everyone walk away with a free tin of turd polish?

Quote: FORESTBRI "Hi, i am a member of the fan panel, there are around 15 of us....

I believe there will be a release on the twitter page sometime this week with a review of the meeting with Daryl & Karl.....

It was a very open meeting and i came away feeling better about the direction we are heading....

At the Pre season fans forum they asked for people to express an interest in being involved on the panel.....'"

Any context that you can share of how you arrived at your conclusion?

Please don’t take this as a slight on you, but this has been poorly managed end-to-end. There’s a game in 72 hours, it’s on a Friday night during a week of train strikes, the weather is great, the cost of simply being alive is creeping up, it’s on Sky and we haven’t won in so long I can’t recall what it feels like. WHY WHY WHY is there is something positive going on isn’t this being shared widely to encourage fans into the stands and to affect the mood of those fans who have had to witness the past few months.

The veil of secrecy around this looks like there’s a bit of shame and anxiety. While I always expect some ‘filter’ of who gets in to these events, if you only ask the opinions of people who think like you, then it’s a pointless exercise. Sometime you need to take your medicine, sit in front of someone who went to Hull KR, Catalan or Wakefield and hear how they feel (not suggesting that you didn’t attend, but I went to 2 from three and would have a robust set of questions for them)

Actually, I don't boo. I'm too old for that, these days I just shake my head in the same way I do when I see 13 yr olds in Ramones t-shirts.'"

My 13 Yr old has two ramones t shirts and his fav song is 53rd and 3rd, loves dee dee. Just saying.

I don't think there's much worth getting upset over with fan meetings. They are just a token gesture when things aren't going right, and they won't make much difference because there isn't a clear cause or a quick fix to our problems. Best just to lower expectations for the rest of the season and download one of those yoga / mindfulness apps to use until Feb 2023. I would recommend the app that the players use... stick in your EarPods, take deep slow breaths, and stay absolutely still while all your problems (and opposition players) freely float past you without disturbing your inner peace...

Whatever is said at a meeting it is pretty obvious from the discussions on contracts that are happening now & all the possible transfer talk that we are going to see major changes next year. These actions mean more than any words.

Still waiting for the invite to have a beer with Powell, as one of the fans (Mugs), who went to the Hull KR away game this season.

It was particularly horrible wasn't it. HKR looked like world beaters. I bet he was even more upset than you. I cannot really believe that the meeting would make you feel much better.

I think there is a crumb of comfort in that this is probably the nadir of our situation. When you are losing all your matches the only way is up........... although it will probably be next season before we see if Powell can pick the right squad and get them playing half decent footy.

In regards to the booing, I would probably been doing the same ( I have only seen Wire TV replays this year) as I do get a tad worked up at live matches. Trouble is, morale will be at a low ebb and the last thing the coach wants is to make it worse. And of course the booing will affect players like Thewliss, Wrench, Coops etc who are probably giving it their all.

My view too about affecting everyone ... I hate it.
Booing is pathetic & I cannot get my head round why a grown adult would do it.

Some folk use a live game of sport as a way of releasing their frustrations at issues, that aren't necessarily RL related. If folk wish to let off steam in that particular way, then I haven't got a problem with it, as long as that's it and it doesn't escalate into confrontation, or violence.

Yep but ... imagine you are a young Warrington born player on the great stage and the Halliwell becomes a seething pit of hissing/booing ... not good. Or you take your son to watch his first game and you are unfortunate enough to see some "inebriated nutter" hurling abuse at his own team ... not good. I wish the person simply "releasing their frustration" would do it in some other way.

Never booed our players, but I confess to booing referees, on more than one occasion over the years................
