We started with some intent but as soon as any pressure was applied, we buckled.

Wakefield shooting themselves in the foot. Why hasn't Butler been given a chance sooner? Done nothing wrong so far, much more like it from Philbin as well. We are still struggling with dictating the tempo of the game so the wakey defence isn't stretched enough.

We need to learn how to tackle as well, 2 really poor tries conceded.

Win or lose this is simply not good enough , we have known for the last few seasons we have been short upfront and to let chris hill go without a like for like replacement is comical

I reckon a neutral watching this would say its two equally matched, lower half of the table sides, providing an entertaining, if low on quality game.

Both sides have a lot they can improve on.

Wakey is just discipline to improve really, they have cost themselves 3 tries through needless penalties.
