What the hell is he doing ANYWHERE NEAR a microphone, is beyond me. Seriously, you need an interpreter.
Pryce is poor. I watched the opening few minutes of the Championship game on Monday. Typical [idaft [/i Northerner.
I'll watch the C4 games when I can, subject to work/golf, but I'll avoid punditry..... I do anyway.
As I've said on another thread, I was impressed by Amor. He was very good. Didn't sound like your typical RL player, and avoided the usual clichés. A rare breed, a pro talking sense. Already the best co-commentator in RL history. To be fair, it was a low bar, to start with. I wonder who'll do it on Saturday, with Amor playing. Kevin Brown seems OKish

| Just read that C4 coverage got an average audience of 531,000, peaking at 750,000 for the last few moments of the game.
Not sure what Sky get but that sounds good to me for a Saturday afternoon.

| Just a word of warning to the many Sky critics.
Some need to be careful what they wish for.
Had it not been for Sky, RL would be nowhere near where it is today.
There is so much negativity towards Sky at times I dispair.
Sky has given me the opportunity to watch far more RL than I could ever have imagined since the inception of SuperLeague.
Decades, yes decades.
I dont agree with everything they do or with some of the presenters comments BUT thanks Sky for all you've done and are doing.
Not everyone who supports RL lives close to their team, making it impossible to see all but a few games each year.
Live RL is great so thank you again Sky, and welcome on board C4.

“ RL would be nowhere near where it is today.”. Where is it today? A small, struggling minority sport played mainly in small towns in the north of England. With a 40% reduced TV deal, no magazine programmes and no promotion. Yeh thanks Sky.

And where do you think it would gave been without Sky?
Sky have pumped in millions year after year and kept many clubs afloat.
There was no live TV coverage - except for BBC and the CC (whose coverage is also criticized regularly).
The BBC highlights show uses Sky coverage.
Yes - thanks Sky.

Might be a bit much to ask him to commentate and play at the same time.

The BBC Super League Show does include highlights of the SKY games, but it shows all the other games that SKY hadn`t covered too, so they could simply show the rest without SKY`s input,

| Apparently the average TV audience for yesterdays game was 0.5 million with 0.75 million watching the end of the game. Those seem like very good figures to me and combined with a refreshing presentation team we seem to have got off to a flying start to attract and bring in a new audience.

if he was miked up it would certainly provide a different aspect to the commentary although you can imagine the flood of apologies for the general language overheard

I'm interested to know how this matches up with Sky's figures over the matches in round one.

The average figure per game last season was 150K but I have no yet found any data for '22 yet.

It would make a nice change if Hill's brought along a celebrity mate, who had never watched a game, and was added to the half time pundit team. A newcomers view would be good to hear, as to what they liked and disliked about the game.
