Not sure what was worse tonight, the lack of quality on show from 2 top 6 teams, or that one eyed buffoon Phil Clarke saying that Wigan weren't that bad at the end of the game because they only got beat by 1 try!
They said during commentary that Wigan scored fewer points on average than any other team in SL, says it all really.

But the energy-sapping bit is the defence. Pretty sure long Covid doesn’t make you more boring. It’s not just Wigan either, the league as a whole is getting less entertaining.
Time for us to go back to the reasons why RL survived back in 1895. We made ourselves attractive to watch to bring new fans and new money to the game. |

I only watched the second half, and thought myself, haven't missed much when I saw the score. Second half was a mind numbing arm wrestle fest. No wonder the crowd was as sp as the moments of enterprising and entertaining play on show.

He has a lot of work to do, to justify the 4 year deal, as a marquee player that he signed with Wigan. |
