But what is everyone's thoughts on here about the virus in general and the approach we have taken.
I've not stopped working. I've not worn a mask (exempt, but wouldn't wear it anyway) and I've seen it for what it is. A flu.
I've seen the stats. It has not been that bad at all. Yes. It's sad that people have died but when the average death from the virus is 82 years and 3 months and the average death from anything in england is 81. You can kinda see a pattern forming. And I hate the goverment and main stream Media for the scare tactics imposed at the start. Which has continued since.
You cant have a alternative view and speak up. Because big tech wont allow a opinion and if you go against fouchi in america. Your banned from places like youtube. And that's not just Americans. That's english youtubers as well even of whitty says otherwise. And you generally cant have a opinion on newspaper comment sections because the comment sections get closed because they dont want people to have a opinion contrary to the opinion on what the article says.

wire2004 - I generally agree with your sentiment, however, I think the time for this debate has long passed. I think the more interesting one is the aftermath & the obvious fear that some people now have of returning to a normal society, shown by people stating things like a reluctance to return to the HJ to watch a game.

It's becoming pretty clear that the result of government & media propoganda is going to cause far more issues, which will harm our society, than the virus ever did.

Maybe, this has nothing to do with Covid.

I've changed jobs with no problems during the so called pandemic and I am now working for o2. And I am on the phones and get to speak to many people who are struggling now and I have to look at so many accounts and look to help them in anyway I can.
I've been saying this for absolute ages. It's not the pandemic that we have had that is the problem. The real consequence is going to be the next 2 years. The people who are in so much debt now. The people who have the mental problems as a result from this. The people who have lost there jobs as a result of this. The people who will suffer as a result of this. And also for the people who will lose there lives due to the consequences of the pandemic and everything mentioned above.

Will the goverment take responsibility for the aftermath of the pandemic and the consequences of the next 2 years. I doubt it. They've crippled the country as it is with the economy we are going to be in for the next god knows how many years.

I'm happy for a COVID/Government discussion but not so much on a Fans returning to the HJ thread. If you want to carry on can I suggest that we have a new OT one please?

And keep it respectful of opposing views as well
