| I'm as frustrated as anyone that Inglis isn't playing, but I'd be even more frustrated if he played when he wasn't properly match ready, got injured and missed a big chunk of the season........although it would give us more chance to indulge in our favourite pastime of whinging & moaning I suppose.

| Coming so soon after the Latu debacle it does make us look pretty stupid which when it comes to recruitment of late, we are.
As long as when he is "fit" he has to earn his place that's fine. If we start rearranging the backline and hacking people off to get a half fit Inglis in the team and sell a few more bits of GI tat, it will backfire massively.

| I didn’t realise he’d said he wouldn’t be ready til round 5-6. For some reason I’d got it in my head that he said he’d take until round 5-6 to get settled and back to his best.
If it takes 6 weeks FROM round 6 then I think we’ll see the best of him in September. Which should time nicely with us missing out on the playoffs having been knocked out of the cup semi...
Can’t he at least show up at Victoria Park for a kick around and pretend to score length of the field tries?

You're correct that's exactly what he said. Or thane has got it wrong. Unless GI new months ago he'd sustain a calf injury.

| Inglis is fit....
Just think about this for a minute after my post.
You have to think outside the box.
Remember the impact Johns had....now I’m not talking about the pre game period. We’ve already had the attention for Inglis like Johns.
I’m talking about during the game vs Leeds and the result, which lets be honest, was never going to be in doubt. We caught Leeds at a good time, and the game goes down in history and it echoed all over Australia...and went live too.
I now come to my point.....
There is no guarantee that we can beat Hull and Cas over the next 2 weeks. However we are guaranteed to smash KR. (I do think we will beat both FC and Cas btw)
Now can you imagine the huge backchat if we play Inglis in either of these 2 games and we get beat?
Now this is the period I give you a minute to think about that....
The negativity that will come off defeats will echo around the world in complete contrast to Johns and make Wire and a Inglis the laughing stock for a generation, as Johns vs Leeds is the biggest league result of a generation. Inglis HAS to come out with a winning debut, for him and club, period. The fairytale WILL happen vs KR, and from that point, the stage is set and the honeymoon period attached with it. The press will be all over him.
So if I am coach or Fitzy and Inglis is fit to play FC, would I play him?... absolutely NOT. He plays and the pay will follow. Wire WILL be the biggest name in RL following our wins that are going to follow...and they WILL follow.
Sorry to sound condescending, I’m not trying to be. I’m just having another...”Wire will beat Saints in the play-offs and/or Wembley” and I’ll tell you why moment.

Aye oreet. Everyone in world rugby will be talking about the mighty Warington. No they won't. No one cares about Inglis anymore. He has been finished for 2 years and you wont get anything out of him on the pitch. Looking forward to seeing all the wins that will follow though. Ive been waiting to see that for about 20 odd years.......... More dreams. Invest in the youth, until that happens you WILL always fail.

| The most disturbing thing us that he isn't a troll, he actually believes this guff he's posting. My favourite bit of nonsense in there was "we're guaranteed to smash Hull kr"

| I think 'echo around the world' could be considered slight hyperbole. Unless by that he means a tiny footnote in the sports section of the Sydney Morning Herald with the headline 'Inglis limps off on return as Warrington trounced by Rovers'.

| Rubber is definitely "thinking out of the box". He's just having a bit of fun ... don't bite.
He's a "poor lad" (Eddie Waring style).
