Glad to hear karetaker is OK, don't know you personally kt but I sit in the North stand and saw the gathering of staff around whom I now know was you. To the quoted point, the club were marvellous in their care about my dad (20 year season ticket holder) when he was in hospital this year, visiting, sending cards and flowers. He didn't make it, and there were a bunch of Wire staff at the funeral, including the junior player I sponsor.

Now I am sorry your season ticket holding father passed, I know the feeling,

My Father was a cash on the door, on the bus specie, when he could afford it, watched Brian Bevan many times, took me to my first Wires game, but had to desist due to illness.
I still vividly remember taking him to watch against Leigh on Boxing Day, which was a struggle for him but he made it, but was his final visit to Wilderspool.
My Father passed away in hospital at the same time your father was getting his first season ticket, nobody from Wire visited him, or sent flowers or cards in his many hospital stays or came to his funeral.

I could go on, but as I say I am not sure of the motive of your reply, so will just put it down to your ignorance of the old long-standing Wire joke,

Well I had a call from Karl Fitzpatrick today which was very much appreciated, he asked how I was etc and I told him all I knew which wasn’t much tbh, anyway happy that he took time to do that as far I was concerned it was just something that happened and I’m feeling a lot better today.

Good to read that you're on the mend, and the club does care. Hope that Karl promised that the Wire would pull their collective fingers out, for the future well being of the supporters!
