At the risk of cliche, we take each match as it comes. I love winning semi-finals, and I'll celebrate them, thanks. I hate losing semi-finals, as I suspect does every fan, including you. A good win is a good win, whatever happens in the next match. Your opinion of the full-back debate is a valid one insofar as your elevation of Coote over Ratchford goes. Funny though, how a pro journalist like Gareth Walker of the Mirror found it VERY difficult to decide between them. There is [iplenty [/iof doubt as to who is best. |

I think one of our fans on Red V made reference to the current MOS standings i.e. Ratchford being well above Coote. The response was that there was instances whereby Coote had played excellent but had still been overshadowed by other saints player during these games. I'd accept that argument if the top ten in the current MOS chart was riddled with other saints players but it simply isnt! We have three of the top ten, Cas have two and Wakey have two...in fact Coote is the second highest saints player behind Roby in 15th spot on 6 points........so he hasnt been performing THAT well behind Roby!!
In fact Coote is only the 4th placed fullback behind Ratchford, Shaul and Evalds. |
