Amor is better than his early season form. I think he had too much of job to carry the team following the Warmsley injury. Yes they we winning and the backs were doing it well. Saints were very fortunate with much of the fixture scheduling getting big teams early and a long run of easy teams.
I said it before the cc semi final and I said it following....dropping Amor would lose them any chance to visit Wembley. That's what the numpty did and it happened. Completely swamped out by the greater depth of Cats pack. I'm not sure Amor would have made a significant difference to the result but dropping him was an own goal.
