Got to give all the credit in the first half to Catalans: good defence and good go-forward got them to half time in the lead

Second half wire had enough chances to win but very poor execution

Where have I been miserable?
As usual, I've stuck to the facts, and stated our failings, which were many, today.

When we win, I'm on here regularly, congratulating my team.

As I said, I've never met you, so you have no idea of my rugby background, wether it's school level, amateur, or even Lance Todd trophy winner. It's not relevant to this forum or any other.
There'll be 90,000 at Anthony Joshua's next fight, and millions watching on PPV. They're each entitled to their opinion, wether they've stepped into the ring or not.

I don't get personal with fellow Wire fans. I just discuss the games and the sport. Such a pity others don't follow my lead.

I love Wire. You love Wire.
If we sat down together we would get on.
But ... the reason I have commented on your posts is that in my humble opinion you are too critical & personal of the players that I can see are trying their best.
Your love of Wire is a bit hard to see at times.

Thought Ratchford was poor as well and Clark struggled to play offensively for 80 mins. The Catalans 1, 6 and 9 were much better and smarter.

Catalans mistakes kept Wire in the contest. Second half Wire had plenty of ball and field position but no creativity. Best team won. Micky Mac produced an outstanding display and totally outplayed his opposite number, which he invariably does in big matches.

Best part for me was seeing Stuart Pearce's face at the end, priceless. Free ticket and can't raise a smile for the winners!

It was an obstruction every day of the week, look at the rules.

No idea where you're coming from with that comment Lefty, I've watched my team have a dire season, but I've seen them lift the CC a couple of times recently and don't even get me started on our record in Grand finals HTH

Even if he as never reffed played or coached RL he still knows crap when he sees it.as we all do...but well done Catalans you really deserved it today

No argument but it's their team effort at making ground and getting over the gain line that won it.

Outplayed and out enthused for most of the gsxr there were chances but we were unable to take them.

Key players for us did not perform the spine was broken early on and we couldn't turn things around.

Fair play to catalan they deserved their win today and its great to have a new name on the cup would rather ours again but we were not at the races on this occasion.

Too soon to start the full post mortem on it but few players can come out of this one feeling hard done by.
