| ...but he wasn't
He was no better than anyone.
Forget Ratchford. He wasn't in Patton's league.
Fraud.

| Ratchford can be amazing, but he needs to sharpen his decision making, when to offload and when to just take the tackle.

| Are we back on the bike again ? I was on my jollies for the last couple of games & ,only because of a cup final being shown everywhere, didn't get to see the Wigan game. I had it on the radio though & wondered if maybe the Toronto approach to the cup match of throwing the ball about in a very unsuperleague opening quarter had disrupted the Wires train of thought against Wigan. A certain Sam Tomkins did seem to do a lot of damage that day though.
I was flying home when tonight's game was on & from comments on here we sounded to be poor first half & much better second half. However, considering we don't have a big squad which must be getting patched up quite a bit, Mr Price & the boys seem to be doing a good job so far. Did L.Johnson play ?

No, Johnson and Moran missed out from the original 19.

Only grub last night was Chris hill
Petulant whining cry baby. Gave miloudi a forearm smash in the chops then claims to be bitten
Any justice miloudi will be cleared and hill will pick up a ban for house play

| I hope Chris Hill looks back at that and is duly very embarrassed. It was all his own doing, rubbing his forearm in the mouth of their player then running around crying about being bitten like a little girl. It was the same as McGillvary and Farah in the WC.
Why was he doing it? Why is he ever doing all this crap? He’s more interested in slanging matches these days, calling players he doesn’t like a “rat” and constantly moaning and swearing at the ref.
I’m getting sick of him and he was once my favourite Wire!
Just play the game Chris. Shut your mouth and let the rugby do the talking and stop getting pre-occupied with bull.

| I think the best thing about the game was the performance of the lads who have not been regular i.e. Paton, Pomeroy, Mitch Brown & King. The worst was Hill's lack of self control ... you shouldn't really be rubbing your arm anywhere near someone's mouth.
He was lucky not to be sent to the bin for his ranting etc.

Good assessment. Maybe Miloudi did bite him, it was inconclusive from the replays, but if he did it is hard to blame him or to have any sympathy for Hill when his foul play was what caused it. If he isn't trying to rough up a winger by rubbing a forearm in his face then it doesn't happen.
I always rated Hill as one of the very best props in SL. His standards have slipped alot and he has become one of the worst for the kind of stuff you mention.

| Yes Hill is a pain for cheap penalties and now seemingly kidology... avoiding the word cheating.
His game is poorer for the responsibility if team skipper...whereas Roberts might blossom from it...(even though he hasn't earned it!)
I'd award Hill an ambassador role as club skipper...everything else off the pitch... that includes him to pick up a trophy.
I think pitch skipper takes his mind of the job in hand.

Video evidence suggests that there was no biting motion by the Hull player. Had Hill not illegally forearm smashed a prone players mouth this would not be an incident.
Direct contact to the he head is a red card. Hill will get 2 matches for this.

| It's time hill stopped running around trying to be the hard man and influencing referees. I was a big fan of his up until 2016 but last season and this he's been a shadow of his former self. It looks like he doesn't have the nouse to know that there is more than one way to lead a team. I reckon you'd get much better value out of him if you took the captaincy off him
