| is It just because Roberts is on top wedge that everyone is jumping on his back ? Last year it was Kev Brown , this year Roberts . I’m just glad we’re not bottom of the league we would be having “Rocket Rodwell Esque” scenes outside the stadium

| We do love to worry or be concerned about something. It's happy days for Wire at the moment ... so cheer up lads! It's hard to believe that someone is concerned about a player not celebrating in the over the top fashion that happens so much now. Perhaps he's got more sense.
If you like doom & gloom go and look at results at this stage last year.

| There seems to be a few sensitive souls on these forums that require continued reassurance from our club that everything is OK!! That our antipodean signings are loving life and that all is well.
Guess what!! You ain't going to get it. There will not be a press release every 5 minutes because the sensitive people on RL Fans demand it. Let the club get on with managing the players and stop worrying you fragile little souls that player X is not happy and wants to go home, and all this is obvious because he was 30 metres from where a try was scored and couldn't be d jogging over for the traditional pile on. Get a grip people

| This criticism of Roberts is Toby Kings fault for playing well.
IMO it's harsh to judge roberts yet, he's not been here that long the weather has been diabolical and he has improved as much as the team in general have. Our attack is improving, we're now regularly scoring 30 points which looked beyond us for so long. I'm not sure he isn't just playing to instruction as well, if he is and it's not painting him in the best light then I'm not complaining Steve Prices game plan is clearly working for the time being.

| On the whole I have been mildly disappointed in Roberts. However, he does have a much better sense of when and what is the right pass than any of our halfbacks since we lost Briers. His kicking game is pretty good, too, and he has at least started now to take on the line a bit. I hope there's a lot more to come from him, but there is no doubt that the Roberts/Brown combination, this season, is the best we've had since Briers retired.

| I said pretty much the same thing about our HB pairing being the strongest for a long time on the Roberts thread this morning.
My wife came to the game on Sunday, and from a casual observer's POV, she called out "that number 7" as being our best player, always involved, making things happen (although she's obviously not an expert on RL, or on picking up on his subtle facial twitches and body language like some of us on here).
He even comes over for photos etc as they walk around after the game.

This is spot on , Kevin Brown was saying saturday that the Partnership with Roberts just seems to be getting better and better and therefore allowing Brown more time on the ball himself. Hopefully by the end of the year they will be the finished article ..

| The only absolute inept performance of Price's reign so far was huddersfield away. I think we can all agree on that. Roberts was out injured that day
