83% completion rate, excellent in those conditions, few seasons back I use to worry when it rained we were useless.

Looking at pictures of the pitch I’m amazed
1) that the game went ahead
2) at a reported 83% completion rate
3) and ecstatic at the win

Just got back. Outstanding performance from the lads. The forwards were excellent. We managed the game brilliantly with 83% completion rate and everybody gave 100%.
It's a massive win in horrendous conditions. Not many teams will win there this season.

Hi guys!
Congrats on the win today, very much deserved. Played the conditions far better, was just a game for doing the basics right and you certainly did that. No complaints at all. We were always in the game on the scoreboard but it never felt like it. If we'd have pinched it, but it would've been a false result.
Very similar to our game against Wakefield on Thursday actually.
As it was at "your end", what was Websters try effort ruled out for?
Not moaning, but I was at the Wheldon Road end and we were all baffled as we didn't see what the ref had given..... It was also smack in the middle of that huge swamp so it was just a plume of water, then Webster suddenly had the ball lol
