I remember it vaguely being mentioned in another thread. I personally thought it unlikely due to him only starting the second year of a contract. No one mentioned on the Incoming thread until the very end. I would have expected those in the know to be over it like a tramp on chips.

Matty must be bottom of the pile for wingers at the club now. I think his days of first team football here are coming to an end. It would be difficult for SP to drop Mitch Brown on Friday after scoring one and setting up one in France.

Charnley will displace Brown I think when he's fit - didn't particularly look out of shape in the short twitter video posted to be honest, but might be a bit behind the pace of the game.

I think maybe a game or two at Rochdale then come in for the Easter Monday game @ Cas to freshen the squad up a little?

As for Russell, it wouldn't surprise me to see him move on loan to a middle 8's team for their push to SL, Brown offers more utility value to us than Russell. If we can move Russell on I'd be looking to bring in some cover at hooker - it still worries me a little, especially given the amount of work Clark is doing during the game.

Clark is doing OK with 80mins. We've still got Smith and Patton as cover...what concerns my more is your idea we should send Charnley to Rochdale! Whaaaat?
